Ainsley said softly, while Allonza just nodded, holding her doll tightly. I smiled at their enthusiasm and took out a storybook from the shelf beside the bed. The book I picked up was one of their favorites, “Adventures in the Fantasy World.” I started to open the first page while looking at the children. “So, tonight’s story is about a brave prince who went to a magical world to save a kidnapped princess,” I said, trying to get their attention. “Do you want to tell it now, Mom?” Adney asked, his voice full of enthusiasm.

After the party last night, saying goodbye to Ella, I asked her out for lunch this time, it was my turn to ask her out, she said yes. We went to our home with a big wide smile plastered on my face, this was the best birthday ever, how did she even managed to find a little that likes reading and books. She even work in the book shop, see my love for stories did pay out, we found her, we still didn’t know how to ask her about being a little, or being our little to be exact. It is tattered and worn, the binding ready to fail. Some pages from the back are missing and all are yellowed, crisping at the edges. The cover, battered and scraped as it is, is bright, in brilliant jewelled colours; an image of a prince in fine silks and a beautiful girl, riding a flying carpet over a magical city.

I wandered through the aisles, running my fingers along the spines, feeling a sense of belonging I hadn't felt in a long time. I spent the whole day there, completely lost among the books, reading story after story until I lost track of time. One book caught my attention "The Adventures of Sir Flufftail" a ridiculous but absolutely hilarious story about a brave and very dramatic rabbit knight who went on quests to save stolen carrot cakes from mischievous squirrels.
