Kael muttered. I sniffled again, staring at my hand as I felt a liquid drop on it. I didn't realize I was crying. I laughed, hiccuping. “I'm not crying. I'm just trying to get rid of something in my eyes.” I began to rub my eyes. Kael sighed, leaning back on the wall. “It's okay to express your emotions. But not for my situation, it can't be helped.” “It can be!” I shouted, unable to hold back the tears any longer. They rolled down my cheeks, my heart squeezing tight in pain. My shoulders shook, and I hiccuped twice as I sobbed.

Her face is flushed with panic and exhaustion. "I'm so sorry to interrupt," she says breathlessly, bouncing Erik in an attempt to soothe him. "But he's been like this all morning. Nothing I do helps. He just keeps crying and reaching for the door. I think... I think he wants you." As if to prove her point, Erik's cries intensify when he sees me, his little arms stretching desperately in my direction. His face is red and blotchy from crying, and my heart immediately melts at his situation.

“It’s okay. It’s okay. Let it out.” Eron sobbed into his shoulder, muttering words Ron didn't even understand as he cried. The poor god was really heartbroken. Ron stayed there, hugging him, and gently patting his back until he finally stopped crying. Eron pulled back, sniffling. “Thank you.” His eyes and nose were red from crying. The rain slowly receded, the dark clouds clearing away.

I make an effort to wipe the tears in my eyes. Wren turned away from what he was doing, he almost flew towards me then hugged me tightly. Gently stroked my back. “Shhh… okay. Just cry Carnation. I'm just here, I told you, didn't I? No matter what happens, I'm just here, I promised to be your big bro, right? ”

If I panic now, I am no use to him. It’s then I realize I have seen this happen before. He continues to squirm around on the floor, clawing at his neck. I look around and see my kids staring at him, holding hands with Eden in the middle. Their eyes were glowing yellow. “Eden, honey, what are you doing?” I asked her. “He made you cry mommy, so we are going to make him suffer. Nobody hurts our mommy,” she responds. “No sweetie, I am crying because I am happy. Now I need you to stop what you are doing, or you will make mommy sad.” They all look at me at the same time. It's rather creepy. But I hear Rayne take a deep breath, then another.

“Nice, huh?” “Yeah.” “Glad you love it.” I looked through the window again. At everybody moving around inside. Then at the lights. Then at him. “I do.” He nodded. That was it. No fixing. No questioning. No looking for the next thing that could go wrong. Just— okay. From inside— something crashed. Eric closed his eyes. “What the fuck?” Then Erian— “DADDY!” He sighed. I laughed. “You better go.” “Why she always call me?”

He only raised the message charm again and called Persephone’s name over and over, until the charm burned cold in his palm and still gave him nothing. Eren stood in the doorway for a long moment before his face crumpled. Then he began to cry.

She squealed, her little hands holding tightly at his as she begged for one more spin. “I think that’s enough for now, princess,” Knox said with a chuckle, setting her down gently. “Your mom’s going to scold me if you get dizzy.” Daisy pouted but her face broke into a huge smile when she saw me watching. She ran over, her tiny feet pattering against the marble floor, and wrapped her arms around my leg. “Did you see, Mama? Uncle Knox made me fly!” “I saw, sweetheart,” I said, scooping her up into my arms. She nestled her head against my shoulder, her giggles melting away the last remnants of my fatigue.

I confuse, and she immediately burst into tears " Oh my God" She cries as she clinges on her protruding tommy. The look on her face says it all, she's not ready for this. " Muse, look I am getting better ok. We will soon be a happy family " I inform, trying to grab hold of her but she wouldn't let me. " Eren I didn't sign up for this " She informs with great distress. " What are you saying muse?" I ask in a panic, as the uncontrolled shaking begins

The small frame, the freckles and similar hair colors…everything. Hayes was stunned to see the development before him and watching the women sob in each other’s arms, he felt a soft throb in his chest. Was it wishful thinking, that maybe just like that, his mother would walk through that door and come to him with a big smile and say she had survived the incident? Would Ethan..he shook his head. There was no way, miracles weren’t that reoccurring. “Why are they crying so much, shouldn’t they be happy to see each other?” The befuddled boy blinked and asked his grandpa who laughed lightly, “Sometimes when you’re overjoyed with so much happiness, you tend to cry as well.
