If I had known the tables would turn, I would have just kept the peace.

That catches me off guard and I'm rendered speechless. "To be honest... Since I met you, I have been doing things right in my life. I have a perfect bond with my son. I often go home when I'm free and start hanging out with my brother, Will," he pauses. "We are going for a picnic by the way. Just me, Renny and Will. Would you like to join?" It's still kind of odd to me that Eric has been shunning his special brother for years. But I am happy that he has started treating him right. Atleast he is standing up for him now.

If his team was here then it was most likely that he was too. For some reason I began to feel excited to see him.

“He is twenty-three. 3 years older than me. Why, sir?” He did not answer me. He continued to peered into the files but his thoughts seem to wonder elsewhere. Does he know Nate? “What’s your brother’s name, Erwan?” he asked again. “Nathan Fuenter. I call him Nate.” “He is the one who is helping your mom in the company right?” I nod. “Your brother is a great businessman, he is wise.” I looked at him questioningly, why are we suddenly talking about Nate? My stomach twisted as if he were taking my last chance with him. I sat on the hard bench outside, elbows on my knees, my hands gripping my face. Would Manolya even want to see me? After everything I did? After all the lies, the betrayals, the sins I had stacked one on top of another until they crushed her? The weight pressed down until I could hardly breathe. “Brother.” The voice startled me. I looked up and saw Eren, my younger brother, standing in front of me. He still carried himself with that new strength, his frame leaner than mine and his eyes were different now.

I explained. It was Ezra chuckling this time as he dropped back into his seat, leaning over again, but this time to the coffee table for his mug of coffee. “Yeah, I have been informed multiple times by my brother how infuriating your sister is. Getting quite sick of the regular updates actually." He offered me a grin. "No, it is quite amusing really. Hunter does not know what to do with himself.” “Because he does not know how to be a mate. Eren POV It’s the first day of the New Year, 2018. Also the first day that I crossed into this new body but with the same name as mine. His dad died last week and his mother was missing when he was only 3 years old. Good for him sake, in this world I have two extra family members, one is my biological sister Alice and the other one is my dad’s colleague Tina. But she really takes good care of us for all the time. I think that maybe my dad really treated her well so we are deemed as her family.

“You’re scared, aren’t you? Scared of your big, bad Alpha brother. That’s why you’re hiding pathetically behind me instead of just killing Enzo yourself.” I shoved him much harder against the wall, my teeth grinding together in frustration. “Scared?” I snapped, my voice sharp and loud. “You think for a second that I’m scared of Enzo? He’s my brother, Eric. We grew up together, fought side by side. Just because he’s the Alpha now doesn’t mean I’m shaking in my boots. You truly don’t know me at all.”

He tilted his head, confused. A breath escaped me. “Can we—” “You must’ve seen Kaelis already,” Eryas cut me off. “Tell us. How’s our little sister doing?” Eronis burst out laughing and gave his brother a hard smack on the back before suddenly straightening and putting on a dramatic face. “If someone will ruin my hall there will be hell to pay,” he said in a high voice, his hands fluttering as he perfectly mimicked Kaelis. “And there will be executions!”
