He paused for a second. “My brother’s,” he said. “Do you know him?” I blinked repeatedly and my throat went dry but my expression remained steady as if I hadn’t found out just the day before. “N-no. I don’t.” He squinted, looking directly at me as if he knew I had just lied. My fingers trembled a bit. I curled them into a fist by my side.

She laughed, "One tutoring session at a time. Anyway, let me know how things go with Adrian, and if you need backup for that gaming challenge, I'm just a call away."
