SYSTEM SHUTS DOWN IN 10:00 MINUTES. Maya looked at Benson. Her face was very pale. "I saved the people from the fire. Now we are in a room with no air. To keep this world going I have to use the bit of power. In ten minutes the power will be gone. Then this world and everyone in it will disappear forever." Maya looked at the Silver Pen in her hand. It was the thing that came with her from the real world into the dream. "Benson " Maya whispered. "There is one program. It is called EXIT STRATEGY.. It only works for one person. One person can go back to a real body in the ruins above."

Two cups of tea were poured by her. “He's not dead.”. Amina's breath released slightly. “But he's not here.”. The relief vanished. “Then where?”. The woman gave her a cup. Amina didn't take it. The woman drank hers instead. “He chose exile.”. Amina stared. “What does that mean?”. The woman met her eyes. After the network disintegrated, all components were given autonomy. A pause. “Most crossed into emergent worlds.”. Amina understood. The released consciousnesses.

Since this visitor was a human, they could not let outsiders learn about their secrets. Loony entered the room and sat in one corner. He stared at a teacup on the table hesitantly. Philip was puzzled by Loony’s reaction, but he knew that Akash had used the teacup earlier. “Since we're all humans, I hope you can do me a favor. In exchange, I can tell you the way to escape from this world.” Loony’s words caught everyone’s interest. By right, everyone should yearn to come to this world, but this guy wanted to help them escape instead. Was there something wrong with this world?

Sarah's POV When I submitted my application to leave the pack to the administration center, the elder in charge of the registration thought that he had misread it. "Sarah Holloway! You're leaving the Snowlight Pack?" "Yes. I felt my mate calling out to me through the mind-link a few days ago," I said, repeating the excuse I'd prepared beforehand. "He told me that he's in the Neutral Zone, and I'm planning to take Nora there to reunite with him."

Amelia’s POV I never thought I’d run away from my own Pack, but here I was—alone on a train, heading somewhere I hoped they’d never find me. The train jolted forward, and the world outside started to blur. Trees, roads, and buildings flashed past the windows, but I didn’t care. All I wanted was to get as far away from that place as possible—and never go back. I sat alone in a corner compartment, curled into the faded red velvet of the seat, trying not to think about everything that had happened.

Nikolai’s widened eyes and face of horror is the last image I remember before the searing pain consumed my insides, taking me to the place I just mentioned.

It was a defense mechanism put in place once others began to covet it for its power. It sensed you as a threat because you were able to see it for what it truly was,” Dara explained. My eyebrows furrowed at that explanation. That did not entirely make sense though because I was not the only one who could see it and manipulate it.

I just watched him quietly and said nothing. He sighed and shook his head in resignation. “I intend to have someone better take over the shares. Jelena and I… intend to move our family to a safer territory and spend the rest of our lives there.” Jelena shot me a smug look and smiled like she had won, but I ignored her. As for Katie, she was seething because Scott had been avoiding her for the past few days. “You’re not on the list of werewolves who are scheduled to move!”
