’ she thought wildly as Max led her toward the tea room. She was still mentally squealing when they reached the Marchioness. “My Lady,” Erella greeted, bowing slightly. Marchioness Camille gave her a warm nod and gestured to the seat across from her. “Please, sit, dear.” Erella’s eyes widened as she looked at the table. It was filled with all her favorite desserts from her past life — tiramisu, eclairs, chocolate lava cake, and creamy strawberry tarts. Her mouth watered instantly.

Linda turned away immediately when Mae looked up and caught her staring, grabbing a tray out of the fridge Linda placed it in front of Mae. "First batch,you have,coco bread with chocolate filling, there cake no vanilla extract though,there is normal bread,the one you like……uh here is some cookies,I actually baked them because of Carl but you can have them,and uhh there is croissant,I just learned how to,you would like it….if you try em all and you like it I'd bring out the other batch,that one is even way cooler than this!" Linda said, clapping her hands together as she watched Mae eat.

"You’ll take orders here, handle payments, and make sure customers get their drinks and pastries quickly." Sophia observed the space carefully. The counter was lined with an espresso machine, cash registers, and neatly organized displays of muffins, croissants, and other baked goods. The smell of fresh coffee filled the air, making her stomach rumble slightly. Melissa led her toward the back, where she pushed open another door.

Then, she followed Xavier to a café down the street. Since it was after work hours, the place was nearly empty, with only a few customers. A soft, sentimental ballad was playing in the background. Once they sat down, a waitress came over with menus. Xavier naturally took charge. "We'll have one Blue Mountain, one Mendhling coffee, and a dessert."
