After a few days though; the markings just disappear. This place fills me with dread, and I don’t know how much longer I can continue to work for these kinds of people. The work here greatly tests one’s faith in God.

Erin did not believe that it was possible for her to be even more confused, but she was. “Immortal? That’s impossible,” she said. “Have you not heard that nothing is impossible?” He asked smugly. “How… how did you – “ “Become immortal?” He completed her question. “Well, thanks to Zokman, we both unlocked the power of eternal life a long time ago. For every child I have lost, I have gained additional years to my life.”

The man with the braid bowed. “The Military Adviser, Four Guardian Kings, and the elders are waiting for both of you at the viewing deck. Please follow me.” The man led the way as Darryl and Dax looked at each other and followed him. The followers lifted the coffin with care and followed them as well. The Eternal Life Island was delightful. Their beaches were filled with coconut trees, there were a few hills on the island, and many creatures were lazing around—it was paradise.

However, these questions would come later. Grandpa Winks smiled at her question. The older gentleman stroked his beard stubble as he sat down more comfortably. He was expecting this question. And he had already prepared a reply, "We are eternals. Eternals are an ancient race, one as old as time itself. We were present when the Universe was made. And we will be in millions of years to come. Only the destruction of the universe, would cause our race to die out." Maia was startled by the answer. How could a race exist from the beginning of the cosmos itself? She looked at her ancestor in doubt, hoping the man would be clearer with his explanation.

Eternal. The word eternal can be defined as an everlasting or universal spirit representing the Moon Goddess lasting or existing forever. Let that sink in. I wasn't always an Eternal Wolf. Before I was ever an Eternal Wolf, I was the Alpha Queen. Becoming the Alpha Queen wasn't easy by any stretch of the word, but being the Alpha Queen shaped me into the she-wolf I have become. I didn't know it then, but I was destined for greatness. The Moon Goddess made sure of that. Saving my people, and really the earth realm from absolute destruction wasn't something I was thinking about when I was a young wolf. Little did I know.

I would rather be a human if possible...
