Dear Reader Thank you for reading the first chapter of the book called, Sins Of My Body. Sins Of My Body was originally written as an Interactive Story Game. I am in the process of adapting it into a novel form. The original version contains a great deal of dialogue to fit the platform for which it was intended. Though you can enjoy the story in its interactive format too as currently published. (eg when Veronica speaks, the format will be as this: Veronica ~ “Let me go, creep.”)

I blurted and the way Shaun turned to look at me, I was certain he was confused. "For what?” "This is so wrong. I have an undivorced husband” I added, but he still had a confused look on his face. "It's a sin for a woman to cheat on her husband,” I said and that caused Shaun to scoff. “I don't know how this works, but isn't it a sin for a husband to lay his hand on his wife. Not just a sin but a crime” "That's different” "You are trying to say that for a woman to be happy is a sin?” he asked and I broke into tears.

Elena needs to be born in a place of mortals, away from immortals, away from Wysteria. "Forgive me your majesty for what I'm going to do, but even if you're destined for her, you can't protect her from something that wants to kill Elena," Sicario whispered words he wanted to convey to the king of Valeria. His oration also began. The surroundings are lighting up and his power will start to come out. He performs one of the forbidden rituals, turning an immortal temporarily mortal. It can remove the smell of an immortal while living as a mortal on the surface world. He will stay away from the demons who are chasing the immortals who have no opponents.

I asked, my voice merely a whisper, "do vampires mate for eternity?" Lance took my face gently within his hands and looked directly into my eyes. "Yes, we mate not only for life, but for eternity." "Do you have a mate?" I asked, afraid of the answer. Lance smiled, amused by my interest. "If I would have, you would not be here." "Oh?" He took a deep breath, closing his eyes. "You would be dead," he said. He looked away, thinking, and then back into my eyes. "Do you remember when we met?"

My body bore their permanent marks with pride, my heart full of a dark, all-consuming love. The scholar who had once hidden in dusty ruins had risen as the Queen of Eternal Flames. The Abyss was ours to rule, the mortal realms protected, and our future bright with the promise of heirs and endless nights of sin. The summoning ritual had been the spark. I have committed a lot of sins and I don’t deserve to be forgiven by you.” He spoked. “But Victoria and the baby inside of her are innocent.” Tears started to gather around the rim of his eyes. “So please God, if you actually exist, please save both of them.” He was holding on to the necklace Victoria was wearing last time. He knew what it was, one of the item that was supposed to be auctioned at Sergio’s auction.

Survival, I am learning, is sometimes just choosing not to open certain wounds. The air shifts. Reality tightens like a held breath. Eternal stands in the center of the hall. She does not arrive. She is simply there. Seventeen forever. Silver-and-black hair caught between states. Eyes mismatched and endless. “I have information,” she says. Her voice is layered—Tempest beneath something older. “The pain shared it while I held it suspended.” Every hammer in the hall stills. “Emptiness is not destroying what it consumes,” Eternal continues. “It is storing it. Compressing matter, memory, and concept into a pocket dimension outside conventional reality.”

“The child does not belong to the pattern.” Eternity is a sequence of hunger and consumption, It is a long, dark thread that pulls the fabric of the physical world into the mouth of the abyss, we have tasted the souls of kings, the screams of stars, and the hollow echoes of those who thought they were gods.
