I shook my head at their efforts, fighting off my smile when a few of them gave flowers to Ethan, who blushed furiously. Even if he tried, he would never get unnoticed in public. Standing tall at six-foot-two and having the most perfect swimmer body, he had a fan base of his own. Not to mention his unique eyes. His right eye was green and left was blue because of the heterochromia. I had always loved his eyes. Ethan stood tall, his immaculate blue suit hugging his broad shoulders. His dark hair was finely shaped, and his heavy brows complemented his hawk-like gaze, making his presence rather unsettling. "You should see your face," saying this he adjusted the mirror above and I saw a scowling reflection of mine. "See, like I said when you are angry and scowl you look hot." He whispered in my ear and I looked down to hide my blush. He tucked an escaped tendril of my hair behind my ear. "You have beautiful hair," Ethan complemented.

“Jake said I could crash here if the storm got bad. My roommate’s got his girlfriend over and… yeah.” Mark had let him in without hesitation. Ethan was Jake’s best friend since sophomore year of college—tall, lean swimmer’s build, always polite in that way that felt almost teasing. Mark had noticed him too many times: the way Ethan’s tank tops clung after practice, the casual way he’d stretch on the living-room couch, legs spread, showing off the thick outline in his basketball shorts. Mark told himself it was harmless observation. He was forty-two, straight-presenting, married. End of story.

Ethan Ethan was breathing hard at the top of the stairs to the maternity floor. He was in good shape, but the Colorado altitude was a deal breaker. He almost regretted not taking the elevator, but he didn't feel too badly since Craig was just as out of breath behind him and probably in better shape. My back tenses at the sound of those words. That didn't sound like a question. It sounded sure, unsurprised. " Yeah." My footsteps falter on the top of the stairs when I see Ethan, walk into view, with company. I finally get a view of Ethan's guests. I take note of how tall they are, even surpassing Ethan by inches. All these guys before me are handsome in their own way. Ethan has natural wavy brown hair, which has grown longer. One of the guys has dark hair, a defined jaw and strong face structure with light brown sharp eyes. His whole demeanor screams a person who is sure of himself, edgy and overall intense.

A tall guy stepped in, dark hair, sharp jaw, confident posture, and stopped short when he saw Elias. “Oh shit, sorry,” the guy said, raising both hands. “Didn’t mean to scare you. I thought the room was empty.” Elias steadied himself against the wall, heart still racing from the surprise. “It’s fine. I was just heading out.” The guy smiled, a little sheepish but warm. “I’m Ethan. Ethan Voss. New here. Just transferred in for figure skating training.” Elias blinked, recognition clicking slowly. “Vera mentioned you. I’m Elias. Elias Noir.”

Layla shot me a glare asking who's the hottie, but I just shrugged my shoulders innocently. Ethan was just over 6ft with broad shoulders and a thin waist. I'm not sure if he had abs going on under the shirt, but he definitely had muscles. His golden hair was a little long on top and shaved on the sides matching perfectly with his deep blue eyes. He had the hot rich boy look down nicely. "These are my friends, Layla and Katie." I introduced them to Ethan. He was polite and well spoken, saying hi then asking questions. I think he was truly interested in getting to know us. It was weird that I felt like he was just being friendly and not trying to get in my pants.
