It was as if Julian couldn't hold back his excitement, "Well Ethan," he leaned down until he could level Ethan with a glare, "Run," but Ethan remained still as if his feet were superglued into place, "come now, Ethan. You're ruining the game. Off you go."
This time Ethan ran. He was smart, heading straight for his car.
"What are you doing?" I hissed.
"I'm a tracker," was all he said before calmly walking in the direction Ethan took. He stood in front of the car and held it by the bumper so the man couldn't get in, "I said run, Ethan. Maybe you should check your hearing."
