Bella's face turned red as she gasped for air, her hand weakly reaching out. Just as she was about to pass out, Ethan let go, his eyes cold and unfeeling. "Bella Reid, I won't let you die," he sneered. "You're going to live every day in misery." Watching it happen, I felt a grim sense of satisfaction. Bella was finally facing what she deserved. I glanced at Luke, and with just a look, we turned and left the room together.

He knew she wanted pictures but he also knew his little sister was like a picture whore and she will take forever to take them. "Well I drove myself since I had to come early so ya'll just go ahead and I'll meet you there." She shrugged like that fixed everything. "Uh you know I may just wait." Ethan cut his eyes over at where Daniel was laughing with some friends. He wasn't going to leave her alone where he could bother Eve; he would kick his ass if he got within ten feet of her. "Ethan..." Eve groaned, "I am a big girl." "And I am a big boy but that has nothing to do with anything." Ethan joked making Eve roll her eyes.

I blinked, watching the shocked reaction on his face turn into indifference. “And? You should have just listened to me, you bitch” He snarled, looking at me. I looked behind him to find an absolutely angry looking Ronan. I opened my mouth, wanting to say something but he used his fingers to make a shushing sound. “I would never hurt you, intentionally, you know that” Ethan sighed, unaware of the crazy looking Ronan behind him. “But lately? You have been pushing me to the wall, just like your pathetic parents and…” That was enough for Ronan apparently because he jumped in, grabbing Ethan by the neck, giving him no time to breathe when dug his claws through Ethan’s chest.

Blake, dressed all in black, is certainly set apart from the rest, and I wonder if his people are elsewhere. People approach Ethan throughout the evening—speaking to him deferentially and dipping their heads when addressing him. Some ask about the siege and the whereabouts of the other Wolves who still haven’t returned. Ethan tells them he’s sent someone out to look for them, his jaw tensing as he relays this information. He must be worried about John. I am, too. I’ve no doubt Marius will have sent men after me. What if they caught up with the group Ethan and I left behind?

" A little panic finally appeared on Marissa's face. "A car accident? "She's at the—" "Mr. Duncan, I know you're upset, but how can you lie like this?" A mild voice spoke up. "I saw Nora downstairs just now and even said hello to her," Adrian Pierce said, lowering his head sadly. "We'll pay the money back later. If you're angry right now, I can kneel and apologize, all right?" As he spoke, he moved as if he were about to kneel. Marissa's expression changed completely.

Ethan was in room 412. I went to the hospital. There were two police officers standing outside his door. They looked at me. I looked back at them. Then Ms Adu, the lawyer that Mr Osei had called, stepped forward. I talked to them quietly. They let me through after that. I opened the door and went inside. Ethan was sitting up in his bed. He had a dressing on the side of his head and a cut above his eyebrow that had been closed with stitches.

"Ready to lose a few thousand dollars?" " Face! He frowned. “So… it's today, isn't it? Eric noticed the other's expression and his own closed: " No! You haven't forgotten! Say you didn't forget! Ethan only tightened his scowl, shaking his head slightly. " Oh man! No! protested an exasperated Eric.

Even Mom seemed to understand this wasn’t a request. “Come on, Emma,” Mom said, tugging my sister toward the door. Emma’s face had gone pale, her earlier tears were long forgotten as she stared at Ethan with something that looked like fear. “We were just trying to help…” “Out..and I won’t repeat myself” Ethan said. As the room cleared, I noticed the slight tremor in his hands as he loosened his tie. He coughed into a small tissue and for just a moment, his composed mask slipped off .

I tried to ignore the knock, but the person was persistent, and then I found out it was Ethan. I cursed under my breath and pulled myself off Winter, knowing he wouldn't stop knocking until I attended to him. Winter chuckled and quickly covered her body with a silk robe while I went to get the door. After Ethan finished getting the information he needed on Chelsea, he left the room so we could resume our session. Winter was obviously thrilled about Ethan fancying Chelsea, and she couldn't hide it. I made love to her, assuring her nothing would change or take away what we have, and she had nothing to worry about.

I was thinking about something else. "So, your name is Ethan?" I asked him, looking directly at his eyes. "Why did you lie to me? Why were you hiding your name?" I was feeling kind of betrayed as I spoke to him. I looked at him. He tried to open up his mouth to say something but it was already enough for me... "I'm going at the stream. I need to take a walk! You don't have to worry that I am gonna escape! I don’t have wings like Mr. Fatso!"
