The library, once a sanctuary of quiet productivity, suddenly felt like the bridge of a warship. Amber stood in the center of the room, her spine a straight line of cold fury. "I am a partner in VIVI-AMBER, Father. I am not an asset of Miller Global to be liquidated. And I am certainly not a pawn for your political alliances."

I wanted to rip my own hair out. Every instinct in me screamed as I watched her fingers neatly fold that small, smug little piece of paper and slide it into her purse like it meant nothing. Like I meant nothing. And when I tried to say something—to warn her, to remind her who the hell Erlan was and what he was after—Amber had shut me down. Dismissed me like I was some irrelevant speck in her rearview mirror. Like she couldn’t even be bothered. I couldn’t stand there another second.

Damien's POV I couldn't believe the words that had just escaped Amber's lips. "Be the next Luna?" The thought echoed in my mind as I tried to make sense of it. A surge of guilt washed over me as I realized how close I had come to crossing a line I should never have approached. Amber, the maid, my uncle Derek's daughter, had nearly become a regrettable mistake. "What the heck do you mean?" I questioned her, scrutiny. She stopped panting and moaning. She tried to maintain her cool, but I knew there was something behind this. Was she fucking me to get a child from me and become….

AMBER I couldn't believe my ears as Clarisse's voice spilled out of the phone, a mix of satisfaction and triumph resonating through the receiver. "Amber, it's done," she said, her words laced with a sense of finality. "I broke up with Tiffany, and her mother came begging for forgiveness. We showed them the door, just like they deserved." I could hardly contain my joy. The plan had worked, just as we had meticulously orchestrated. Tiffany's world, built on lies and deceit, had come crashing down, and it was immensely satisfying to know that I played a part in it.

However, Livia felt like vomiting, knowing that Amber was just manipulating everyone. "Can you please drop the act, Amber? It's nauseating!" Livia said, her voice laced with anger. Her parents and Aldrake turned to her, their faces cold and unforgiving, ready to attack her again. But Amber intervened, her voice pleading, "Don't hurt her, please," Amber begged Aldrake, who nodded in response like a puppet.

Leila looked taken aback, “what's with the disregard, Amber?” “Oh, I am sure you don't know, or you are pretending not to. What the hell is this Leila?” Amber blurted, showing her the flask. She shrugged, “it's in your hand, found in your space. How do you expect someone like me coming all the way from outside to know what it is.” Amber hissed angrily, her patience was thinning out and despite Kira's plea for her to not push it any further? She took a determined stride towards Leila and almost dipped the flask in Leila's mouth.

Amber said with a wicked smile. Roselyn glared at her and said, “I will drag you out myself once your thirty minutes is over.” “Copy that, Miss Roselyn,” Amber offered her a smile and walked inside the Computer room. Once she turned on the computer, she went to the internet and tapped her fingers on the table. She thought about what to type and she bit her lips. Her fingers hovered above the keyboard before typing, “What is the Salem Witch Trials all about?” and she tapped on the enter button.

Damian said and smiled at her. Amelia nodded without saying anything and continued eating. After a few seconds, Damian sees Arthur walking towards them with his wife and daughter. “Ian, you’ve met Zelena before right?” Arthur said. Damian nodded before standing up and shaking hands with Zelena. “It’s been a while,” he said with a polite smile. Amelia stood up as well and gave a smile to Zelena. “Hello, I’m Amelia,” she said. Zelena blinked as she recognizes Amelia. “You’re the one at the park, right? I’m Zelena, It’s very nice to meet you” she said and offers her hand to Amelia.

However, it wasn’t the same as to what I'm seeing now. There was a boy. I can’t recognize his face because of the weird blurry effect of the dream. The only thing I saw clearly were his eyes. His emerald-colored eyes are still engraved in my mind. Even though it’s already been a year since I last dreamt of it, I still can’t forget his eyes. The scenes may be different to what I'm seeing now, but they were both peculiar and still not on earth.

Amber teased, though deep inside, his chest tightened. Katleya didn’t respond. She simply gave him a sweet smile—but in her mind, she was silently wishing for something impossible. Amber stood up. “Auntie Mom, Uncle Dad, Big Bro, Big Sis, I’ll go ahead.” Ezmeralda approached him and gave him a tight hug. “Come back again, okay?” “Of course. Thank you so much,” Amber replied warmly. “Drive safely, Amber,” Fernando reminded. “I will, Uncle dad.”
