First Class Male

First Class Male

He backed two steps away from her. “I wish it were, but no, it’s by an author I’ve long admired, Joyce Elbert. In the late sixties she was the hottest writer in the country. Her novel The Crazy Ladies sold over two million copies,” She refilled her drink, then walked the same two step distance closer to him. “And I’m sure Legal Briefs will sell twice as many, and Guilty Pleasures as well, once you’ve finished it,”

Lies And Betrayal

Lies And Betrayal

Lawrence leaned in closer, eager to uncover the connection between himself and the woman on the cover. "Me?" Lawrence asked, surprised. "How am I related to the owner of a women's wear company?" he pleaded, his eyes widening with anticipation. Gloria smiled mischievously, enjoying Lawrence's eagerness. "Well, I'll give you a hint. Take a close look. She is Isabella," she revealed, causing Lawrence's jaw to drop in astonishment. "I think you know her." Gloria paused for a moment, relishing in the suspense she had created. "Isabella is the wife of Samson, the owner of the air charter company where I work," she finally revealed, watching as Lawrence's shock turned into a mix of disbelief and ex

Second Marriage to Mr. Rich

Second Marriage to Mr. Rich

Eleanor immediately left a comment. Cutie Pie: "Are you even humans? Mr. Lawson could help anyone as he wished. Is being a male something to be proud of? Mr. Lawson had the right to choose whether or not he wanted to help you! Is there something wrong with your brain? She's Angeline Lawson, not Angeline Emmerson or Jodie! Mr. Lawson wanted to help her because of how capable she was. What's wrong with that? Your family are the ones who are immoral!" Comments flooded in as soon as Eleanor wrote hers.

author please ensure the FL ends up with Sean Lawson. Even if Ned has supposedly lost his memories it doesn' justify the methods he uses to defame and insult someone without evidence. If she ends up with him I would be thoroughly disappointed in the novel. Sean is the green flag hero we all hope for

This book should have gotten a 10 rating instead of 8. It’s unique and very different from most stories that always gotten married for 3, 4 or 5 years and gotten divorced, with the female lead always waitingforthe male lead to come home and eat her prepared dinner only to be presented with a divorce

One Night, One Baby, One Billionaire Mess

One Night, One Baby, One Billionaire Mess

"I hated everything. But I learned. Slowly." Eliana nodded. "Then I'll wait too." Ava hugged her tightly, swallowing the lump in her throat. Just before noon, they got another envelope. This time it was from the law firm managing Luciana's global estate. It wasn't about the trust fund. It was about a clause buried in the deed to the foundation itself. Luciana had placed Elena's name on the family estate—not Ava's. Which meant if the trust was activated and accepted at age twelve, the estate would be Elena's.

FORSAKEN WIFE, NOW A BILLIONAIRE'S GREATEST REGRET

FORSAKEN WIFE, NOW A BILLIONAIRE'S GREATEST REGRET

“Gwen, we need a lawyer.” “I know we do. But not Lawrence.” I met his gaze, my own resolve hardening. “Lawrence is a foundation lawyer, a corporate strategist. This… this is a murder investigation, Arthur. A forty-five-year-old murder. We need a shark. We need Eleanor.” A flicker of surprise, then understanding, crossed his face. Eleanor Vance. My merciless mentor, the legal pitbull who had helped us dismantle Alistair Finch. She was retired, too, undoubtedly enjoying her own hard-won peace, but she was the only person I trusted to navigate the bloody waters of a criminal reinvestigation.

The Divorce That Ruined Him

The Divorce That Ruined Him

I didn't open it. I just stood there, my hand resting against the edge of the gold frame, my mind drifting back to the early days. I thought about the promises made in small, dark offices before this business was a multi-million dollar empire, and the man who had given me my very first start, the man whose shadow had stretched over my entire life until I couldn't tell where his ambition ended and mine began. Lawrence. The brilliant, conniving lawyer who had successfully played both sides for years. To the world, Lawrence was Serena's trusted legal advisor, the man helping her fight for custody and protect her assets. To Serena, he's the one to offer her freedom.

SINFUL ACQUISITIONS

SINFUL ACQUISITIONS

"Read it when you are ready. Not before." I pick it up. My father's handwriting. His brother's name. The letter Edward wrote with love and clarity and a deadline, and sealed himself, and posted, and never knew if it had been enough. "Elara," I say. "Yes," she says. "Is it finished," I say. She looks at me. The particular look of a woman who has spent thirty years in rooms like this one and knows exactly what finished means and what it does not. "The legal part is finished," she says. "Everything else you carry forward however you choose."

An Affair with the Billionaire

An Affair with the Billionaire

Like Emerald, her mother, Esperanza Greene, was a strikingly beautiful woman. Men were easily drawn to her, just as they were to Emerald. After the incident with Emerald’s father, Eula stopped begging for his attention and instead focused on finding other wealthy men to marry. It seemed her plan was to elevate her social status and prove to Emerald’s father that she could secure a better life. Yet, no matter how many expensive bags or pieces of jewelry Eula collected from these men, none ever dared to marry her.

Fake Marriage: The Trillionire Tycoon's Fiesty Bride

It was obvious that she wasn't another member of the board so she had no authority to question them or stop them from proceeding with the presentation. “Request granted. What is it you have to say, Eva." For the first since the entire presentation, Lawrence finally spoke. His eyes flickering to the woman who he considered as his most prized granddaughter. He didn't have any change of expression on his face, however, he was smiling widely internally. It seems the genius has had enough of their nonsense and would finally make a move.

This is a very well written book. I love the plot as well. I do wish the relationship between the female and male leads would progress more quickly though, even if I understand the reasons why it hasn’t yet. I’d still love to see more progress on that side. I just deleted a similar story bc of this.

Dear Author, we are already in chapter 275 and the story still not match the title. So when is it the main characters going to get married? Is this another book that it will drag forever? I’m just curious. I used to look forward to reading your book but I’m starting to lose interest.

Divorce That Scumbag And Take The Lead

Divorce That Scumbag And Take The Lead

He crawled over to her, “Eula, get me out of here.” Eulalia frowned, a hint of annoyance in her eyes. She pulled out a card from her bag, “There’s 4.5 million on this card. Extend the deadline for the remaining 550,000.” Cassius raised an eyebrow, somewhat surprised. He liked people who got straight to the point, but Eulalia’s straightforwardness was rare. She didn’t even ask a single question before offering the money. Cassius lit a cigarette, his eyes half-closed, “I’m honored that Ms. Clearwater trusts me so much.”
