“From the inside.” He pulled a small neural spike from his belt. “If I inject this… I can destabilize her feedback loop.” “You’ll die,” Jaxon said. Asher nodded. “No.” Evryn reached for him. “You don’t get to redeem yourself by dying.” “I’m not doing it for redemption,” Asher said, voice trembling. “I’m doing it because… I love you.” Evryn’s heart stopped. Then Seraphina moved. A sonic wave burst from her palm, slamming them back.

Ashlyn answered as she still could not understand why Tosh was watching her that much. “You do know, it already lies within you ever since both of you saw each other in years back then.” Ceres cut her off and pressed that she knew already she was just afraid of what might happen once she take the risk of facing it. ‘Save me, Nicolyte.’ Ashlyn recalled the first time Tosh and she stared at each other orbs when they were still in college. She recalled those lost and longing eyes of Tosh when she started hearing what Tosh meant when they saw each other.

“Please, hold him down for me” Asher groaned under his breath as Alex grasped his left shoulder and pinned him against the bed while Eva start to shuffle through her medicine box. With syringe in hand, she nod at Alex before injecting him across the right shoulder. Asher spasm for a moment before he lay still and Elizabeth gasped with wild eyes, her expression mirroring that of Alex. “What just happened?” She began, her eyes darting between Alex and Eva once again. “I mean, is that a normal reaction?”

Her face was terrified. “Shina, tell them the truth. I told him everything. He is not an ordinary person. He can spill the truth hell out of you. Better you should speak everything.” That man said with a scared tone. He was scared to even look at Dylan’s face. Shina jerked his hands away, “Who are you and what do you want? And what’s Shina? My name is Ashley and I don’t even know you.” Shina was stubborn. The way she pulled her hands away seemed to disgust this person and had no connection with him.

I muttered. I left without another word. … Sheryl’s POV “Oh, my goddess!!!” Val screamed, rattling my brain. “What just happened?” I gasped; I opened my eyes and Ashton was gone. My heart was racing rapidly against my chest and my entire body trembled. I held my arms together, trying to keep myself still. My legs felt like complete jelly; I thought I was going to fall over if I even attempted to move. “He kissed us! Our mate kissed us!!” Val replayed the events in my mind.

The Testimony of Ash A hush fell over the chamber as a figure was brought forward—Ash, a stable hand, still limping slightly, the left arm wrapped in stained bandages. He looked small and out of place in the vast hall, but the fire in his eyes burned bright. Vegas gestured sharply. "Speak." Ash swallowed, then forced the words out, voice rough with unease but determination. "I saw him. Xavier… He kissed the Luna. In the stables." A shocked murmur rippled through the crowd again. Vegas pressed. "Was it consensual?" Ash hesitated, eyes flickering toward the spectators. "She didn't stop him."

Then he drags that gaze to Rylan, as he smiled lazily. Glancing out the window, I wonder how much force it would take for me to make it through and plummet to my death, just to escape this situation. "So great to see you, Alpha," Asher says smoothly, shaking hands with Rylan while patting the side of his arm warmly. I can hardly see the relationship between the two. One of Desire, the other of Purity. Their stark differences would suggest hostility between the two, however, they look rather warm toward each other.
