Ever After High The Movie Novels & Stories

The "Happy Ever After" lasted exactly three minutes. The golden light of the eclipse had faded, leaving a crisp, silent night atop the High Peaks. Kieran was still holding me, his heart beating a steady rhythm against my ear, and Rowan was standing close enough for our shoulders to brush. For a heartbeat, it felt like the credits were rolling. Then, the world hiccupped.

I noticed only the approaching, blinding light, and I closed my eyes, not wanting to witness my entry into the afterlife, if this indeed was heaven and I was truly gone. "Celeste!" I froze. My heart rate slowed. When I reopened my eyes, I was left speechless as Arik stood before me, swiftly removing the bomb strapped to my body along with the chains. I saw and heard him commanding his men to defuse the bomb outside, and I spotted the black Ford Raptor behind him, its high beams casting a brilliant glow. I wasn't dead. I was still here. "Oh, God. Fuck it!"

“Okay.” The rest of the night went on without incident. We watched the bands and hung out with our friends. Z and I hung out and talked a little bit throughout the night, but mostly did our own thing. Once the last band finished, we were all finishing up our drinks and planning on what to do after. Hannah had shown up about 30 minutes into the first bands set. I had noticed her hanging around or all over Z a few times tonight. I tried not to think much of it, but I could barely contain my eyerolls at her overly friendly behavior. “You are heading home Ash?”

He stared at me mischievously and said, “Ssshhh…” It took me a moment to realize what movie is going to be shown. My breath caught in my throat as I saw Drew Barrymore’s name on the screen. “Ever After,” I whispered and I bit my lip to keep from crying. Because this gesture was far too touching. And it was the very last thing I expected from Travis Cross. We watched the movie in silence. Even though I almost had every scene memorized, watching it under the full moon and stars only made it so much better for me. It was perfect!

He stuttered out once we pulled away. I nodded my head yes. As he squealed in excitement and hold me bridal style, "thank you. Thank you so much. You will not regret this, this will turn our happily never after, to our happily ever after." He said as he put me on my bed, hovering over me then kissed me again passionately. * (If you guys got confused, please back to the prologue and read the beginning) * A few years after Emily I am just done with my coffee time and decided to go back home. It has been 10 years since Aaron promised me a happily ever after, since the birth of Niles he never leave me alone.

I giggle and Avery laughs with me. “Please tell me you will record that Nick,” Avery asks. “Absolutely.” “Good, I’d hate to miss that,” laughs Avery. “You ready beautiful?” “Yes, where are we going?” “Well first we are going to dinner at one of my favorite restaurants. I think you’ll like it and then I am taking you to a drive in theatre.” “Really? I’ve never been to one before.” “I figured, I hope you like it.” “What’s the movie?” “It’s called Ever After. I know nothing about it but Mason assured me it’s a girly movie.”

As he handed it over, the man's eyes darted away, his voice wavering with unease: "Ryan, Stella had someone drop this at my office reception. Since you said you weren't planning to go, I... I didn't think I should show it to you..." Ryan snatched it away, his eyes instantly locking onto the gold-embossed letters: "The Union of C & E" His chest tightened as if an invisible hand had closed around it. C was for Claire. But what was this E? In his logic, Claire couldn't possibly have found a new groom in a matter of days. He immediately remembered that the initials of his firm, Evergreen Capital, also started with an E. Or was this some romantic metaphor for "Eternity" Claire had concocted?

It was exciting for someone with a life as quiet as her to experience a scene worthy of an action movie, and even more so for someone like Reed to be interested in an ordinary journalist with an accumulation of rules. She closed his eyes and ran his hands through his hair trying to comfort himself, a caress she was used to when she felt completely alone, he went down to his ear and went up to the lobe until he reached the piercing. His heart skipped a beat when he realized that the earring was not where it should be, he ran his hand again to confirm and felt only the holes drilled. Hope ran her hands through her short hair, trying to see if they were trapped there, but found nothing.

He smirked, his voice was strong, bearing an uncanny resemblance to that of the teenager who made my high school years a living hell until he left. My mind flashed back to the teenage boy who dropped a lizard on my desk just to get my reaction, framed me several times for doing things I never did so that I could be in detention with him. He was the same person that gave me a lingering and unforgettable kiss at the only night party that I'd ever attended. "High school? D-Dexter.... Dexter Hemmingway?" I stuttered and stared at him, this time it wasn't just a glance but a thorough scrutiny of the man who awoke strange feelings within me that night and traveled to another country some days late
