Novel & Cerita Ever After High The Queen Of Hearts

Once upon a time you could call us queens of frozen hearts, adamant to keep everyone out of our lives and especially our heart, but right now, we were the queens of perfect lives. THE END <3

She says with a small giggle. "You will stop second guessing your abilities to lead and you will rule right beside your mate. That is an order." She jokes with a hint of seriousness. I nod and smile up at her. She holds her hand out and a golden staff apears. I immediately bow down and she dubs me Queen of werewolves by tapping the staff on both of my shoulders. "I now dub thee Mackenzie Roseline Lathen as Queen of werewolves and Luna of the royal pack. Do you accept?" She asks and I look up at her.

I've seen this scene a hundred times-glamorous polish-but it now feels strange, like visiting a foreign place where I'm unwelcome. I continue to move through the crowd. Heels click softly on marble floors; my eyes scan the faces, searching for him. I am witnesses to all sorts of smiles, conversations, and sadly, none belong to him. My heart beats faster with each passing second, while the silence within me grows louder. Where is he?

Jackson panicked. I gave him a warning glare to get his act together. “Oh, God!” Jackson grunted. “We don’t have time…” I said, pulling out the queen of hearts. Jackson tore off Verity’s shirt and sliced her bra, turning his hand into a claw. I placed the queen of hearts right in the middle of her chest. The card glowed red, making the murky green curse visible all around her. The red light from the card absorbed the curse from her body. Her eyes widened as she regained consciousness with a loud gasp.

Everybody started arguing, and the supporters of shamanism and the Moon goddess worshipers started throwing taunts at one another. “Where is the unknown Queen?” I suddenly yelled, cutting through the noise which swallowed up the whole vicinity. “I am not a supporter of the shamanists, I did not conquer the packs with my strength and might to fall under the jurisdiction of you people. I am done wasting time on this discussion, please present the queen to me.” “I found the unknown Queen with the assistant of the Darnish. And I will present her to you shortly.” Romeo HighTower said. I took a seat and was beginning to relax my nerves when another surprise erupted.

Jake announced while sounding quite pleased. The Queen of Hearts wasn’t the highest ranking queen, and it was lower than the kings and the aces; however, it is still considered a relatively high ranking card. Perhaps my luck had improved somewhat from what it had been doing before. It would have been too much for me to ask to pick up the Ace of Spades which was the highest card. I felt slightly better after seeing the card that I had picked because it felt like I did stand a chance at winning this game after all. “My turn,” Bradon said as he approached the table.

Ava stared at her. "Why me?" The Queen's eyes darkened. "Because the final key isn't your blood." She pointed at Ava's chest. "It's your heart." Ava frowned. "I don't understand." The Queen smiled. "You will." Then the entire house went dark. And in the darkness, Ava heard a whisper directly beside her ear. "Welcome to the final game, Ava."

Thump, thump, thump. She touched her face—it was burning hot, as red as a ripe apple. The crimson blush spread across her face and seeped into her heart; everything revolved around this man. This man, Adrian, seemed quite different from the one she had originally imagined. She placed her hand over her heart, which was throbbing for no apparent reason. It was a frantic pounding, like a moth that, knowing full well the blazing fire ahead, was still bewitched and lured into fluttering toward it.

She just felt something warm and wet falling at the back of her hand, and heard the sound of sniffing. “Face me, my queen!” Jingfei frowned at the sudden skip of her heart. No! This can’t be happening. She don’t love him anymore. She had already moved on. Or was it all just a lie.. a to herself? A lie that she had already moved on and had forgotten him? That he was merely a fragment of her past that should be erased from her heart but not from her mind.

I eyed Dante and Alessandro watching me. "Don't waste my money Bambina," Alessandro said through the earpiece. I smirked and showed my hands. A perfect aligned royal flush: the combination of ten, jack, queen, king, ace, all of the same suit. Everyone stilled and looked at their boss, he was flabbergasted. "You delivered a royal flush sweetheart," Lorenzo said, gaping. I shrugged. I eyed Dante and Alessandro with astounded reactions. I smiled at both men. "You didn't have much faith in me, Mister," I said with a wink. I didn't only say that to Lorenzo but to Alessandro and Dante who are also listening through the earpiece and now shaking their heads amused.
