I was about to comment on it when my something on the desk caught my eye. I picked up the book with a smile. “You're reading The Last Word?” Christian looked surprised. “Yes. Have you read it?” My inner book nerd sprung to life. “Yes I have. The Last Word is my favorite Dennis McCullough book. It's a great story. What do you think of it so far?” “It's great. I especially admire Slater's resilience. It's commendable. Through all the hurdles he faced he still held on strong.” “What?!” I yelled. “Slater is terrible! He's the worst male in the entire story, and that is saying something. What do you mean he's resilient?”

Her last word was; "Help"
