All The Queens Kings - Book 8

All The Queens Kings - Book 8

Not for anyone else but him. Rhett and I leave the office together in silence. There was nothing normal about our lives, but today was starting out to be one of the strangest. Little did I know it was only going to get stranger as the day went on.

The beginning of this book was hard, but then all the characters showed their strengths and it really wrapped Lamia’s part of the series up. The whole series was definately one of my favourites with strong female characters
Kristi Miller
Another Truly Amazing Book! Alas very sad that this series has come to an end but the ride through this time has been absolutely incredible. My hats off to a Wonderful Author. I highly recommend these books to anyone who loves adventure, heart break, betrayal, friendship, love and family.

ONE NIGHT,EVERY NIGHT

ONE NIGHT,EVERY NIGHT

“Crunchy. Exactly. I thought I was the only one who hated the smooth stuff. It feels weird. Finding all these little things we have in common after so many years apart.” They kept talking while they ate. Small similarities came out one by one. They both hated the sound of chalk on a board. They both rubbed their left eyebrow when thinking hard. They both preferred rainy days because everything felt quieter. Damien listened from his chair, typing occasionally but mostly watching Kai’s face. He noticed when Kai’s shoulders relaxed a little. He noticed when the conversation brought a real smile. That was enough for him now. After lunch, Kaicen continued exploring. He walked to the bookshelf and

His Useless Wife Was A Queen

His Useless Wife Was A Queen

“Next Thursday works.” I set the phone down and looked at the city again. Something was happening. Several things at once, the way they did when a life that had been static for too long finally began moving again in multiple directions. Caleb, somewhere across the city, doing the slow, honest work of becoming someone else. Ethan Cole, asking about next Thursday in a way that was about more than County Five. My own keynote, moving through the world in ways I couldn’t track or control, doing whatever it would do.

Too Close to My Best Friend’s Brother

Too Close to My Best Friend’s Brother

Sitting at the edge of every interaction like something that hadn’t decided what it was yet. I kept showing up anyway, because the opportunities were real even if something about them felt slightly off. Maya had started giving me a look I pretended not to notice. By Thursday evening I was home early for the first time all week. I showered, made food I didn’t really taste, sat on my couch with my laptop open to the project brief Ethan had given me and read the same paragraph four times without retaining a single word. The building was quiet around me. That particular settled quiet of a Thursday night everyone home, everyone contained, the week winding toward its end.

Wrong Pair of Eyes

Wrong Pair of Eyes

CHAPTER 18 POV: Mia Thursday arrived like a permission slip. No Ethan. No project. No borrowed reason to be in the same room. No version of this that needed justifying to anyone including herself. Just “Thursday”. Her apartment. Him. She woke up alone this time. The other side of the bed undisturbed. For one disoriented second she thought she’d imagined all of it, the call, the kitchen, the evening on the sofa, the specific warmth of someone choosing to stay.

MEANT FOR EACH OTHER

MEANT FOR EACH OTHER

"I love you too, Brian" Both kissed. "That reminds me, I met a nonentity today" "Nonentity?" He asked as he carried Chloe to the room. "Yes. Remember the contract I told you about?" "Oh I do. Mint-More, right?" He asked sitting on the bed and Chloe sat on his lap. "Yes, Mint-More. I don’t think the founder of that company is normal" "Did he try to touch you? Do you want me to break his legs" "He dare not try to touch me"

The Other Side

The Other Side

He tried many tricks to make me look at him again. But I keep on ignoring the fact that he's there and not planning to leave. One day, I was left alone around the dorm for the holidays. My grandmother left for the US for a visit. I had nowhere to go so I stayed in my dorm. It's eerily quiet when I arrived at the mall.

Finally.. We had reached end of the story. I must say it had been an emotional roller coaster for me with the characters in the story, esp with Ava who had made me teared up multiple times with her innocence, resilience and bravery for her age. One of the best books I had read.. Great job Jenne!
