Every Summer After Book Novels & Stories

Arya We only have a week left of being at the cabin before we need to go back to our real lives. My book is nearly done! Which is amazing! It usually takes me longer to write, but I think this one was easier because of the experiences I’ve had this summer.

Penelope, as I read on her badge, said. She had pretty hazel eyes, and I could swear her natural hair was brunette. Her teeth seemed artificial, too, and from her statement, I could tell she had difficulty pronouncing some words. Summer waved the book she had snatched from me and said. "She's not anything like us and will never be. She belongs to the trash." I scowled and yanked the book out of her hand. "I'll be waiting for you in the car if you'll excuse me," I gave her a tight-lipped smile and walked away.

Summer’s voice bumped into her thoughts and she snapped her eyes to the boy, eyeing the book he pushed and held up in front of her carefully. She nodded her head. "Yes, baby. You need to be more confident in yourself. You’re an intelligent boy, you know that right?” she said, not asking, but Summer smiled with a nod anyway. “Thank you!” he said, removing his book to work on it again. She smiled, but the smile soon slipped away from her face as she felt a presence behind her. The kitchen door was open so she didn't hear a sound, but she felt a sizzling feeling running down the back of her spine and that was how she knew someone was behind her and who the someone was.

Terry probably had the experience as well, since she travels a lot, and sleeping on the ground isn't the worst thing she's done.
