Eyepatch Novels & Stories

I woke up still in Saint's room. I saw him at the end of his bed facing his laptop and I knew he was serious about what he was doing. I carefully moved my body, and I flinched. It still hurts. He looked at me with his usual stare. He's still wearing his eyepatch, seriously? What's with his eyepatch? Is he hiding something in his left eye? "Just rest Klea, your cheeks are still swollen." I nodded to him and lay down again.

The men quickly pushed a table in front of me and the laptop was dropped to face me. "Move away, don't ruin the Princess' background" Mario chased off the muscular men behind me before receiving the incoming call on the screen. Almost immediately, a tall man seated in an office environment appeared on the screen and the most he set his eyes on me, he rose to his feet instantly and bowed his head slightly. He had an eyepatch on his left eye and a military hat on his head, the more I looked, the better I realized I had seen him somewhere. That's it... The image in one of Uncle Danny's files that had father, Uncle Danny, Elijah, and..... the one who had the 'Almo

But he didn't show it on his face and continued staring at the man. "Hah, looks like you still don't understand the situation. You're in my hands now. You're the ones who offended me, yet you're still dreaming of negotiating with me? Aren't you the least bit worried that I won't let you two go back ever again?" The man with the eyepatch had a gloomy look on his face as he looked coldly at Liam.

He wouldn’t need to use eye shields, but realizing how apprehensive he was, the doctor told him to use protective eyeglasses with no magnification, to keep dust away. After a whole week in complete darkness, Brandon needed a conscious effort to keep from closing his eyes. On one hand, what he called the patchwork of smudges and flashes was almost as disorienting as not seeing at all. And he would confess only once, and only to me, that he was terrified of unwillingly straining his eyes. However, when he was able to keep them open longer, and colors started to appear slowly, he finally believed the doctor’s recommendations and put his fear to rest.

"It seems everyone is quite alert." Startled, they turned to face Lana, and I could see the fear literally creep into their faces. All except one of them. He was wearing a military vest and had a scar that ran from his forehead to his left cheek. He also wore an eyepatch, and from his stance, he didn't seem to care that Lana was in the room. Hmm, an interesting fella.

The tension between us was palpable, a heavy silence that seemed to magnify every tiny sound in the room—the soft rustle of fabric as the patch was loosened, the faint creak of the bed as I shifted slightly, my heart pounding in my chest. When the eye patch finally came away and fell to the floor, my breath caught in my throat. The sight before me was one I wasn’t prepared for. Where his eye should have been was nothing but a stitched wound, a cruel line of black thread holding together the place where his eye had been removed. The skin around it was raw, angry, and bruised, evidence of the brutality he had endured.

"Forgot to put it on silent! I was just live-streaming for the Neighborhood Alpha Watch fan club!" "Hailey, we are in the middle of a major tactical situation!" Aaliyah groaned, her focus still glued to her screen. "I know! I was helping!" Hailey protested, shoving her phone forward. On her screen, the night-vision view of the foundry was overlaid with a bizarre, shimmering, rainbow-colored effect. "Check out this new filter on my streaming app! It's called 'Aura Goggles,' it's supposed to let you see people's emotional energy. Look, it's making all these weird, human-shaped pixel blobs shimmer all over the place! Super trippy, right?"

I froze, my whole body rigid as I watched. Selena didn’t even lift a hand. She only murmured in that language of hers, old and crackling with power. Jayden’s head tilted slightly as though pulled by invisible strings. And then—his right eye shifted, darkened, and with a sudden wrenching twist, it was gone. No blood. No scream. No wince. Just absence, like it had never belonged to him at all. My breath shuddered out. Selena extended her hand, and in her palm appeared a small, black silk patch—the kind blind men wore to cover what had been taken. She pressed it into Jayden’s palm. “This will shield the wound.”

The Reaper posture returned. "I do not have an appointment. My calendar is clear." "The optometrist, Cale. 11:00 AM. You’ve been squinting at the crossword puzzle for weeks." "I do not squint. I narrow my eyes to reduce glare. The paper is too reflective." "You hold the paper at arm's length. Your arms aren't long enough anymore. You look like a T-Rex trying to read a map." "My vision is 20/20. I am a spotter. I can see a threat from three hundred yards."

"But for you? It's completely free!" As I walked back into my apartment and locked the door, my phone buzzed again. Ray, "Use it twice a day. Put it on the corner of your eye and gently massage it for three minutes." Ray's unexpected kindness sent a sudden jolt through my chest. I rubbed the faint scar near my eye, and my wolf let out a soft, rumbling purr. I never felt this way before. What was this?
