Chapter 77: The Thing That Even The Void Fears For the first time since the sky was torn apart, the countless eyes of the Void Emperor moved away from the world beneath him. They looked behind. Not toward Evelyn and toward the Heart Throne. Not toward the First Judge or the Blood God. They were looking into a place no one could understand. A place where even darkness had a beginning. I feel my hands go stiff around the chalice, and I’m frozen, it feels like I’m floating and I hear gasps from around the room although I can’t move to see what’s happening. I’m not sure how long this lasts but it doesn’t feel like what Eliza said it would feel. I’m scared but I can’t speak to ask for help. I feel like I’m blinded and a bright yellow colour is shining in my eyes. I can hear Damon calling my name and I can feel his emotions which scares me more, he’s shocked, but also fearful and in awe of whatever he can see.
