October got to her feet just as the queen arrived, she was about two feet tall. Had long, flowing aqua colour hair, that dragged on the ground whenever she walked. Her eyes looked pink and glassy, her face kept changing. Each one was more beautiful than the other.

I decided to flick through page by page first looking at the pictures, as got around ¾ the way through I flicked on to a page them seemed strangely familiar. The page I landed on had a picture of my grandparent’s house in the distance. The main focus of the picture however was the forest/wooded area to the side of the house. It looked absolutely enchanting. The picture looked full of life, beautiful plants and flowers were all over the garden leading down to the forest. The forest was filled with colour. The fire fairy, a figure of flickering flames and intense eyes, stepped forward with a resigned sigh. “Since you’re here, we must explain the rules of the Chosen Lady. The question is, which one of the two girls is the fairy? He tsked. What a bother. One looks menacing with that resting bitch face while the other looks innocent from the rough world with that angelic face. The fairy is probably the intimidating one. Right? Fairies are a female-dominated race, with most of them being fierce defenders of their home. Either the forest, the ocean, or the spirits. Similar to dragons, we operate within the four hemispheres, only instead of couples, each hemisphere is seen over by an elder selected by majority vote, usually a daughter of one of the princesses that didn't have children first, so they all behave like they have something to prove. And yes, that means we're distantly related. The problem with them being voted in, is that it's a rigged system and the most proper fairy is usually chosen. Something I never really realized until after all of the recent events opened my eyes more to the flaws and corruption.
