I wondered who owned such structure. “Welcome to Destiny. Thank you for making your time to meet us here under a short notice” a woman wearing a pink dress suit greeted us. She was not Human for sure. I guessed her to be a Fairy. They were known to be smaller in size and always so cheerful even when everyone was quite the opposite. But underneath that veil of kindness, they are creatures not to be mess with. A being that could alter reality into dreams. Influencing the minds of those they thought were threats to them, without you noticing it.

The fairy said, she flew away and then came back with tissue. "Like here, and like stop doing that." The fairy made a face. October took the box with a laugh. "These are small, but thanks." Just then there was a loud flapping of wings, the fairy stood up straighter and moved to the side. "Like the queen is coming," she said. October got to her feet just as the queen arrived, she was about two feet tall. Had long, flowing aqua colour hair, that dragged on the ground whenever she walked. Her eyes looked pink and glassy, her face kept changing. Each one was more beautiful than the other.

I rolled my eyes at his possessiveness, but I highly enjoyed it. "Sorry." I blushed at Dex, slightly embarrassed that he saw us having a tender moment. "We'll rest here for about 10 minutes and then I'll open the next portal. This one will take us straight inside the fairy kingdom." Fairies are small creatures no bigger than 6 inches in height. In order for others to visit the kingdom, fairies placed a magic border around them. These borders will shrink down anyone who enters so that they are the same size as a fairy. So while there we will only be 6 inches tall, but it won't feel that way since everyone around us will be that same size. It's crazy to think about really.

At least I hope they are fairies, the good kind, not faeries the bad kind. Apparently, the only way to distinguish between them is how they spell fairy. It's interesting trying to make that work amongst humans. Water fairies tend to travel with the open water and the location depends on the season. It makes it a little easier to appear like we moved away for good, only to come back and find out the humans have forgotten about us for the most part. It's amazing what a name change and new hair do can accomplish. If we happen to get recognized, we hear the 'you remind me of someone' or 'you look familiar' lines, just for us to shrug it off and act clueless.

The question is, which one of the two girls is the fairy? He tsked. What a bother. One looks menacing with that resting bitch face while the other looks innocent from the rough world with that angelic face. The fairy is probably the intimidating one. Right? Fairies are a female-dominated race, with most of them being fierce defenders of their home. Either the forest, the ocean, or the spirits.
