The previous night, it had felt like so much fun but now, she was nervous. Lottie POV "You know, most men don't know what a ponytail is, let alone how to sort their girl's hair out." I teased, watching Knox in the mirror as he brushed my hair into a smooth ponytail, fixing his mother's hard work so she wouldn't notice. "Most men are morons." “I don’t know... something pretty.” I smiled, already having an idea. “How about a half ponytail with little bangs framing your face? It’ll look perfect with your outfit.” She gave a small, sleepy nod, trusting me to make her look just right. I carefully sectioned off her hair, tying the top half into a neat ponytail and leaving a few strands loose to fall around her face. “Just about. Why?” I took the blade from my new dark green, skin tight uniform and gripped my long black hair. Tying it up into as high and tight a ponytail as possible I slashed with one swipe. “Let me.” Before I open my mouth to say hell no, his fingers are already running through my hair like he’s done hair styling a thousand times. It’s… weirdly efficient. And damn he’s good.
