FAKING IT WITH THE PROFESSOR

FAKING IT WITH THE PROFESSOR

Shanon screeched in anger and panic. “How can you do that?” “It's not cheating. I didn't tell them to accept you. I just asked them to look at your registration form, so they don't waste one of their talented prospective students.” “That's still cheating. Imagine how the other applicants would feel if they found out about this. You may have robbed them of their opportunities by doing something disgustingly dirty.” Anthony growled angrily. The look of disgust that Shanon threw at him really hurt his ego. He believed Shanon had misunderstood him.

Faking Forever With The Billionaire

Faking Forever With The Billionaire

“She lied to you? I thought you hated liars.” "Well, Grandma was making a fuss about marriage... so I decided to play along with her lie. Do you know the craziest part?" She shook her head. "I totally forgot about my allergy” he chuckled softly. "I took the chance and kissed her. After that, I proposed a fake relationship, and she agreed. But somewhere along the line... I started wanting her for real. I realized she was the one for me. And that’s how we ended up where we are now." He spoke with a proud smile.

Say it Again-Tell Me l'm not just another deal to you

"He has a problem with me. With what I am. My reputation. That's why we need to ace this fake-lovers project, Mikasa." I chewed on the inside of my lip, gazing at the app again. "Fine. It's a good app. For whatever my opinion's worth, and that's likely nothing at all, I think Bruce would be crazy not to invest in it. There is nothing sleazy or immoral about it. Would've been wonderful to have something like this when Tuck broke up with me. Actually, you could make the shit out of this thing, 'cause back then, I'd eagerly have paid a hundred bucks on getting signed up. We're speaking fifty dollars annually." He nudged my nose like I was an adorable puppy, standing up and collecting his things

Fake Identity

Fake Identity

"Huh! Don't be too confident, my body and face are quite handsome! Are you sure you won't be tempted?" "There must be a punishment for that! Don't be tempted by me or there will be a punishment for you!" said Ilona. "What's the punishment?" "You have half your assets in my name! If I were tempted I would be fired from the company!" Ilona answered making a bet. "Huh, I've lost more! Half the company's wealth, just because I touched my fake wife? That's stupid!" "So you feel that you will touch me! How about your entire fortune!" Ilona replied, not wanting to play games.

Faked to Perfection

Faked to Perfection

“The terms. The arrangement. The… fake love story we now have to parade to the entire world because I couldn’t handle being humiliated.” Dante leaned back against the sofa, watching me like he was waiting for a performance. “Go on.” Fine. He wanted rules? He’d get them. “Rule One,” I said, pacing the length of the suite. “We sell it. All of it. The public wants a fairy tale, so that’s what we’ll give them. Photos, kisses, handholding, the whole charade. If we’re in a room together, we look like a couple that can’t keep their hands off each other. No exceptions.”

Faking Disability: Two Years of Deceit for Revenge

Faking Disability: Two Years of Deceit for Revenge

"A grubby schmuck waltzing into Regal International? Security! What's this place coming to, letting in street scum? It's revolting!" His cronies piled on. "Hey, don't soil the rugs." "Mark, remember? This guy is all principled, claiming money means nothing. Now that his gimpy girlfriend is history, he is here trolling for a rich benefactress?" Their malicious cackles reverberated through the lobby. Enduring their fabricated slander, I fixed Mark with a steely glare and ground my teeth. "Back off!" Mark's expression soured. "Say that again!" He lunged forward, shoving me with brutal strength.

FAKE LOVE: Used Like His Toy

FAKE LOVE: Used Like His Toy

“A job?” “Yeah. It’s temporary. But… We need someone who can pull it off. It’s for the company. You pretend to date someone. Just a show. In and out.” Liam stared. “Fake dating? Are you joking?” Kant crossed his arms. “You’ve done worse for money.” Liam’s eyes flared with disbelief. “That was years ago; I’m not that person anymore.” Kant shrugged. “Fine, then I'll find another person; just say no.”

No More Dream Retreat: The Whistleblower's Regret

No More Dream Retreat: The Whistleblower's Regret

"My mom said scammers are sophisticated nowadays. They invest heavily upfront to build trust!" "Your mom this, your mom that. Are you here to do your job, or to act as her spokesperson?" one of the engineers snapped, clearly out of patience. "Do you even know what kind of leader Ms. Cooper is?" Maya shot him a glare that shut him up cold. "That's exactly what she wants us to believe—a good leader!" She turned back to me, and we locked eyes. She carried a kind of stubborn conviction that bordered on recklessness. "Ms. Cooper, I formally request that these benefits be canceled. Just pay standard salaries. My mom says only cash compensation you actually earn and receive is reliable."

Going Rogue

Going Rogue

There is even a bank account listed with all the details, and a pre-approval noticed for purchasing a home. Silas just stands there watching me as I continue to read the information on my new partial-fake identity. “Are these real bank accounts?” Confusion written on my face. “Am I pretending to buy a house, or actually buying a house?” “Everything listed is real. We won’t actually be buying anything, but we won’t be able to get what we need if your performance is not convincing enough, so we set up the accounts and got the pre-approval for you.”

Tamara
This was actually a really good book. Glad I gave it a try. She really was trying to help in her own way but some people are just so selfish. I hate that she had to go through all of that but I’m glad she got a happy ending.
Sussi Thomsen
Good story, different from many other stories and there was some surprises... Really a tragic story even if it ended well in the end. I did skip easy over some parts to get faster through the story, but the plot was interesting.
