Chapter 1 Abby walked down the long driveway slowly. The sun was warm on her back, but her mind was all over the place. A one-week trial. That was her chance. It wasn’t much, but it was something. She glanced back at the mansion. It was so big and fancy, like a dream she didn’t belong in. But now, it felt different. Now, it was her shot at a better life. For the first time in a long while, she felt a little hopeful.

Abigail POV I tear down and scrambled the paper in my hand. I been constantly receiving a love letter from anonymous sender and I hated it. . Almost in the letter stated that " your going to be mine someday" eww talking about how obsessed. "Another letter?" Candice asked me. "Yup unfortunately! And I wonder how that sender know schedule today! " I said while I plop in my seat. "What's it's says!?" I tossed and turned in my bed. The soft mattress felt like gravel underneath my body. At some point, I rolled to the edge of my bed and I fell out of it before I could stop myself. The fall was loud and painful. It was also a wake up call for me to stop trying so hard. I grabbed the closest thing to fun that Lillian had left in my room for a very long time now. It was the same plain book that I had scribbled something on. There was a lot more gibberish written in the book but this time, I was trying something else out.

Irene sighed as she replaced her lipstick on the table, then grabbed her bag and stepped outside. When she was about to open the door, Irene collided with Noah, who had returned to his apartment unit to retrieve his cell phone, which had been left on the couch. They were both shocked until Irene fell. Noah, on the other hand, quickly snatched Irene's body into his arms. "You should be careful," said Noah. Irene stared at Noah before standing up straight to get away from Noah's arms. "You should be the one who is careful." Irene protested later, "I almost fell because of you."

However, Harper’s fury escalated the situation, and her breathing became uneven. “Where is your inhaler?” Harper asked, looking for her stuff. “i… I don’t have,” Daisy stammered She had only come down for work and didn’t bring anything with her, not even her mobile phone. Harper took a deep breath, seemingly attempting to console her, Gently, he said “Listen to me, Daisy. Take a deep breath.” Surprisingly, his voice carried a touch of warmth and concern, a stark contrast to his usual demeanour.

~Grayson I bump into another servant and rush out an apology before they can retaliate. Without bothering to check if they are alright, I continue my journey to Renata's room. This is the fifth servant I've bumped into this night in my attempt to get to Renata. Maybe I wouldn't keep bumping into servants if they weren't present at almost every corner of the house. Sometimes it is hard to comprehend why anyone would need so many helpers. It isn't a wonder why Zoe and Phil grew up to be such spoilt brats. I search for a way to reach the top and continue my work when I see a little seat where I could climb and have sufficient height to arrive at the top. I do so and find myself not still arriving, remark the bookshelf is long, but is better than before. I straight my hand to attain the next document but the door beside the bookshelf opens shaking the little seat I took and making me lose control of my feet on the chair and preparing to fall.
