Rise from Fire and Steel

Rise from Fire and Steel

The out-of-control car plummeted hundreds of meters, and the moment it struck the sea, darkness claimed me. When I woke up again, I stood at the rally’s award ceremony. The crowd surged around me, immense and unstoppable. Jack and Alanna stood at the center of the championship podium, holding the trophy, their fingers entwined, speaking their acceptance speech to the cameras. “Standing here, I must thank Alanna. She’s not only my navigator, but also my anchor, the person who keeps me grounded.” Alanna lowered her gaze, smiling shyly. “It’s Jack who has the skill. He practices every day and knows every curve of the terrain by heart.”

The New Age King // Book 2

The New Age King // Book 2

I ask, eager to see if she has looked on the other side of the barrier? Anniki nods, and Selene smiles. "Tell us what happened so I can believe my sister," Selene says, and I fold my arms. I glance up at my mother briefly before locking eyes with my father. "When I left your realm last night, I set out on a mission. As I was beginning that mission, I intercepted a fairy spy feeding on some elk. I forced him to take me to the location of his Queen's portal spot. When we got there, I tricked the Queen into opening a portal, and when she was distracted...I killed her. After I killed her, the spy who led me there immediately died. It turns out all I needed to do was kill the Queen...The Fairies

Great quicker read overall. There were unexpected plot twists and well developed banter throughout. The author brings life to different attitudes that aren’t commonly written into novels, which I loved. My only note is that I WISH the author would write more about the lives of Sara & Tab’s pups!

The Nether Alchemist: Tales of a Necessary Evil

The Nether Alchemist: Tales of a Necessary Evil

He turned to Norval and gave him one last chance to back out, knowing well enough that Norval would never take the offer. “Before I finish this, I have one more question to ask you. How could you anticipate all of my attacks? Did you employ some sort of elixir that enabled you to read my thoughts?” He inquired. Norval was speechless, his hand twitching a little as he stared blankly. “Well, since I can't use it anymore, I might as well tell you,” he ultimately concluded." You see, I've read the full text of the Yulcites' Holy Book, which you all employ as a grimoire. I'm aware that the book is divided into six chapters, each of which is based on natural components. The first chapter deals wit

The Moon's Mercy: Throne of Ashes

The Moon's Mercy: Throne of Ashes

The sensation of the absolute drop did not feel like a physical descent; it felt like the total eradication of the margins. When Lord Garrett’s beam of sterile white ink severed the final chain-link holding the lift platform, the world did not tilt, it dissolved. The heavy, three-ton iron plate beneath Elara’s feet vanished into a blinding, weightless white-out as it plummeted into the volcanic abyss. The roaring sulfur-steam, the crumbling granite walls of the mountain’s root, and the distant, agonizing echoes of Caspian’s battle high above were instantly cut off. The environment had been scrubbed. It was the exact, terrifying realization of the Non-Proliferation Edict: a localized void w

His Mate's Silent Cry

His Mate's Silent Cry

With quickened footsteps, she dashed to the shelf and found only two books still laying. Eyes closed and the outside world shut completely. "Focus and you shall get what you want!" She silently said to herself with hands that were raised halfway to the books. As soon as she opened her eyes, the bold, gold letters glowed on the backside of the two books. They began to mechanically shake and eventually fell from the shelf to her hands. "The Waters Beneath Will Deliver—The Winds Shall Redeem Me From NERIDA." "Why are there two books?" Amethyst halted to browse the black covered book. She only got a glimpse of the inside of the book which was empty. Turning to the gold-covered book, she glimpsed

Cursed- The Broken Immortals Book Two

Cursed- The Broken Immortals Book Two

Ben raised his hands and called out in the voice of the ancients, “Ceangailim ort gan aon dochar a dhéanamh!” Selvin fell to his knees as Ben’s spell ripped his powers from him. As they lingered in the air, Ben turned to Imara and scooped the two of them up in his arms. He rocked them gently and took one last sniff of Imara. “I’ll be there soon, baby. It’s all over. Just wait for me at the docks, you hear me? Baby, I’m coming.” Ben sniffed back his tears then nodded to Haldir. “Tie him up!” As Thorin and Haldir picked up the whimpering shell of a once powerful witch, Thorin said, “Oh, I’ve been waiting a very, very long time to see you face to face. I’m going to enjoy every second of this ve

The Blue Eyed

The Blue Eyed

Euphenia asked inquisitively, "Is that the scroll page from the Numenopus, the book of the Old Gods?" Rhain, "No idea about any book. What do you mean?" Euphenia, "This is a missing page from the Numenopus. It is fabled to be kept somewhere in Lunaveria. The book has the history of the Bracelet and other rituals which were practiced by the old Gods. They were powerful practices and thus were forbidden by others. Serkhet stole that page from the book to take control of the Bracelet. After her fall the book was handed over to the werewolf king and since then it has been guarded by them. Being your natural enemy Lunaveria guards the book against falling into the hands of the vampires."

The Lunar Queen's Redemption

The Lunar Queen's Redemption

His voice trailed off. Kaelan’s hand brushed the spine of a nearby book. “Power demands sacrifice, Chancellor. Are you prepared to pay?” Beren hesitated, then nodded. “It lies on the ebony pedestal at the vault’s heart. But beware its temptations.” Nyra’s heart thundered as she crossed the chamber. Each step echoed. The air felt charged—like standing on the edge of a storm. At the center, a single pedestal bore a heavy, leather‑bound grimoire. Its cover was stamped with iron runes that pulsed faintly red.

Claimed by the Alpha King's Enemy

Claimed by the Alpha King's Enemy

*Chapter 69: The Fall of Bloodpeak* *Word count*: ∼1730 words. Bloodpeak didn’t fall in a day. It fell in an hour. The night before, Silvermaw’s riders took the western ridge. Blackthorn’s wolves moved through the eastern passes like smoke. No horns. No banners. Just twenty years of silence breaking all at once. Elena stood on the overlook at dawn, looking down at Korr’s stronghold. Stone walls, black banners, smoke from a hundred fires. It should have looked strong.

Eclipsed Wolves

“She will carry more than one soul. She will remember before the sky turns red. And then, the sky will burn with her.” Theoden appeared at her side. “That’s from the Book of Endings,” he said quietly. Darius blinked. “We’ve got a book named after the end of everything, and nobody told me?” Selene didn’t smile. Her fingers hovered over the words, the page trembling slightly in her hands. “The sky turns red,” she murmured. “That could mean—” “The eclipse,” Luka finished. Everyone stilled. Theoden reached for the parchment. “We need to find the rest of this book.”
