Trisha looked confused as to what the man was talking about as they had their secret conversation. Maria only held his hands, placing the right hand on top of his, covering it. “Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, whom shall I fear?” She quoted as a response, patting his hands. “I know who I worship and it’s not earthly things.” She released his hands as her granddaughter, Trisha asked her what that was about as they walked off. The corner of Gabriel’s mouth tugged up. After the worst of the worst with Deacon Ellis and The Pastor, he needed someone that would give him hope. It would be the worst if an Angel lost faith in humanity too.
