Alexander didn’t look in pain… he looked like he was still processing what just happened. Kaine turned to Ryle and nodded at Katie, telling him to take care of her. Ryle raised his hands, cautiously approaching the horrified Katie, who was dangerously close from the edge of the cliff. Finally, as if on cue, the ground under her feet gave way and she fell.
