Jaz POV The Moon Valley Pack is located a few miles from the Pacific Ocean and between two large mountains that separate us from the rest of the world. She fell to the ground gasping. her throat burned and she was taking a deep breath that added to the pain in her lungs. Linda and John run to her side worriedly. She was in a state of panic again and cautiously passed Zephyr. John picked up Senna, who was also currently in a state of shock and Linda held Lizzie’s hands.

I told her, laughing even harder. The 'fallen' looked at me weirdly. "I have met a lot of weird and psychotic human beings but you, Dawn Turner, are by far the worst." I stopped laughing and glared at him.

I hated battle, but I hated the aftermath even more. I made a list of all the fallen I could identify, so I could visit their families later. The ones I couldn't, their family or packmates who saw them fall would have to report to me, and I'd go from there. Aston and Seth took Max's body to the morgue before we were even back.
