As we watched the stars dance in the sky, we spoke and spoke till the campfire burned. The sun rose the next morning, and it was our last day. We decided to take a swim in the waterfall pool. As the sun shone on the water, the pool was light blue like Emma’s eyes. We could not stop talking to each other. We did not realize that it was evening already, and we had to drive back home.

Lucas moves closer to the edge of the hill, still holding her hand in his. " Are you ready?", He asks as he stares at the ground, the ground didn't look far from up but the obstacles on it is what scares Emily. " Yes", Emily swallows hard and involuntarily tightens her hold on his hand in a firm grip. With a light push, Emily yelps as she skids down the hill. She stumbles upon a rock and fall. Emily hits her stomach on a rock which shoots pain all over her body.

He asked, his voice deepening. “Please, don't do this” I begged quietly, my voice failing. His glare hardened. “You have 5 seconds,” he threatened. My heart was pounding as the tears threatened to spill. “5” he counted. The tears had already started falling. “4” he continued. I shakily started pulling up my shirt and tossed it onto the bed when I was done. My hands went up to cover my bra. “3” his glare remained the same. Now full-on crying, I took off my jeans and tossed them onto the bed.

Suzie's annoying voice chimes in, suggesting that I was probably upto no good. " I didn't realize apart from being a hoe you're also a nosy bitch" I stare at her dead in the eyes. The class is now quiet but I honestly don't care. " Did you just call me a hoe?" I can almost see fumes coming out of her nostrils as she stands, probably to look more intimidating. " She also called you a nosy bitch" Veronica helpfully reminds her. "Yap! I did.. I can actually supply you with a list of other names that mean the same thing if those two didn't penetrate your thick skull"

I sighed and mustered my strength to pick it up. It was a text from Marcus. "Where have you been hiding? I know I was a little harsh that day, but you should've calmed down by now. Stop with this tantrum, and apologize to Janae. We can act like nothing happened! Also, don't forget about our engagement ceremony tomorrow." My strength left me, and my phone fell to the floor after slipping from my hand. I'd almost forgotten Marcus and I were supposed to be getting engaged the following day. I'd once looked forward to this day more than anything in the world. Now, it was so close and yet so far.

I started walking slowly, trying my best not to pass out. " Just a little bit more Ara, hold on for a bit. ", I mumbled to myself I dragged myself to the river as I felt my body was slowly going to collapse. My vision started to blur, my eyelids getting heavy, my head spinning crazily, I couldn't feel my body any longer. Am I dying ? I totally lost myself and my body dropped to the ground, I could feel the cold water hitting my skin, all the noises in the background slowly fading away.

Fuck, fuck, fuck. Did it look like a typo? Like I’d started to say 'I miss you' and lost my nerve? Or did it look like something else? 'I mistake'? 'I misremembered?'

The noise faded behind them, replaced by distant laughter and the hum of the city. Nora breathed deeply. “Better?” Jaden asked. “Yes,” she said. “Much.” They started walking, side by side, their arms brushing occasionally. Each time it happened, her pulse jumped but she didn’t pull away. The night stretched ahead of them, open and uncertain. And Nora realized something that made her heart ache in the best way. She wasn’t just falling for him. She was learning how to fall without fear.

The trees shook violently, and from the darkness ahead, an eerie glow flickered. “What now?” Ethan muttered, glancing around in alarm. Sophia stared into the forest, her heart racing. “We need to move. Something’s coming.” the forest, chilling them to their bones. “There’s nowhere left to run.” The ground beneath them gave way, and Sophia and Ethan plunged into the dark, falling into the unknown once more. As Sophia and Ethan plummeted into the abyss, a cold wind roared in their ears, drowning out their screams. The forest had swallowed them whole. The fall felt endless, like they were descending into the very heart of the shadows.

"Make her fall in love with you and then tell her it's a bet when she has fallen for you." The rest at the table waited for my response. "Well, I accept it. I will make her fall for me." I agreed. "But don't you ever fall in love with her." Brandon warned. "I won't, it isn't the first time we are betting, anyways." I smirked at him. I never lose a bet, the guys know that.
