The Black Wolf

The Black Wolf

It looked nothing like the dying blossom I had hidden away. How? Why? This has to be a bad omen. But before I could process the confusion, something changed. The flower twitched in my palm, twitched, and in the blink of an eye, its vibrant glow darkened. The petals shriveled with unnatural speed, curling inward like fingers burned by fire. They turned black, deep, decaying black, and then crumbled into dust. My breath hitched. I stumbled back, eyes wide, staring at the dead petals falling from my hand like ashes.

What your love felt like- The Dragon Saga

What your love felt like- The Dragon Saga

"The magic of the Crystal Petal Flower is beyond anything we can understand." As the dragons marveled at the sight before them, the petals of the flower began to fall, drifting down to the ground like snowflakes. The atmosphere was filled with a gentle melody as each petal touched the ground. As the last petal of the Crystal Petal Flower fell away, the figure emerged from within, her scales shimmering in the light. She stood there for a moment, blinking in the bright light of the palace, her movements slow and uncertain. At first, she seemed unsure of herself, almost like a newborn taking its first steps. Her movements were unsteady and unstable, and her scales seemed to shift and change as

THE POSSESSIVE ALPHA KING AND HIS FATED QUEEN

THE POSSESSIVE ALPHA KING AND HIS FATED QUEEN

I let my eyes travel down the peculiar flower, its ever red petals glistened with falling snowflakes as they settled softly on each petal, their toichike a gentle kiss on my skin as I ran a finger through it. I had never seen such a beautiful species before but from the blood red petals to the thorny dark stems I could tell it was a rose. The many books I had read depicted all this flower's splendor to be ethereal and beautiful but simple. Its harsh thorns did not allow it to be easily obtained, hence its scarce population. But that was what made it even more wanted and desired. The way the little flakes softly dropped to coat the flower had me staring in awe. Such beauty.

Married a Secret Billionaire

Married a Secret Billionaire

His heart suddenly clenched with pain. Persephone cherished the streets of Flinge, particularly the unknown little colorful and vibrant flowers blooming by the roadside. She claimed these flowers were never seen in Centrolis. After confirming they were unattended, she secretly plucked a bunch and turned them into dried flowers. Each day, she would beam at the flowers with a bright smile.

I've only read two books on this app. This is the second and by far the best one. The storylines are fluid, the characters are endowed with personality and most importantly the writer makes them come together seamlessly. Ideally, this is what the experience should be, uncomplicated and enjoyable.

I like the story. However, the cost is high for books on here and they are never ending. Not that the chapters are long, but it is almost the same outlying as the other books from this author. Sometimes it takes a moment to see what characters they have actively engaged in that chapter.

Love in the Time of Quarantine

Love in the Time of Quarantine

Dried black rose petals are scattered across the floor. One piece shows Ashton’s eyes—wet with tears. Another shows a shadowy version of my bed, rumpled sheets like the last time we were together, with a figure curled up in the corner. There’s a gift box, still wrapped, with “To my love” on the tag. These are the Visions of Regret. In the center: a floor-length mirror, angled up toward the mirrored ceiling. The second section has eighteen pieces. A white Gerbera daisy on a yellow background is displayed at the top—its petals falling like rain. Again, each piece features petals. The bottom of the space holds vases overflowing with them.

Her Bloom Isn’t Red Anymore

Her Bloom Isn’t Red Anymore

She looked toward the window. The flowers were different. The four glowing red blossoms — the ones that had pulsed gently for weeks, always four, no more — had changed. There were six now. Two new petals had unfurled overnight. Quietly. Without warning. She blinked, breath catching. The fifth looked newer, less confident in its shape, but the sixth… The sixth pulsed stronger than the others. Brighter. And underneath that red light, the glass of the window had started to fog.

Until The Last Day

Until The Last Day

Vincent fell forward, collapsing into her arms, bloodied but alive, and his body shaking with shallow breaths. She held him tight, sobbing, “I have you…I have you…l've got you okay." The garden roared in fury. Every flower dried up at once, its red petals wilting back to black. The ground shook violently as it cracked wide beneath them. Vincent coughed, his voice weak as he whispered, “Camela…the ground…” The earth split wide open beneath them as rows of dead flowers tumbled into the abyss. The gigantic flower convulsed one last time before its roots tore free with a screeching sound, and sap sprayed everywhere.

Beneath the Surface

Beneath the Surface

“The orchids just let them fall freely, don’t stick them upright. It’s supposed to feel alive, not stiff.” The florist nodded, scrambling to rearrange. “Run the stage visuals again,” I barked toward the stage team. The giant screen flickered to life, blooming with the company’s logo, then dissolving into a shower of falling petals that swept across the ceiling. My eyes narrowed. “Hold that frame and give it a slower fade. It needs to breathe.” They adjusted it, and the petals seemed to linger now, drifting lazily before vanishing. Better.

Her Fated Mate

Her Fated Mate

Tristan glanced at him and made a sound of agreement. So, it was a good thing they didn't bring her along. Next to the food and drinks was the flower area. Most of them were human flowers, but among them was a small patch of white flowers, surrounded by ice, emitting a chilly air and a faint fragrance. Surprisingly, those were snowfall flowers from Snow Mountain. When the snowfall flowers withered, their petals would break into small white pieces, dancing in the wind like snowflakes. It wasn't easy to bring something from Snow Mountain to the human world, so it tookFrancis a lot of effort to arrange this for her younger brother's birthday.

Dreaming of Flowers

Dreaming of Flowers

I wasn't about to wreck a home. "So dumb." I wipe my eyes on my knees, but the tears don't stop. I look up and can see people making their way through the trees towards me. I sniff and rest my chin on my hands. My eyes trail down, and through my blurry vision, I can see dozens and dozens of flowers blooming around me. I furrow my brow, wiping at my eyes again and moving to sit on my knees and crouch over the flowers. I hadn't wiped my hands on the ground, but they were still blooming. Pink ones, purple, white. Still smaller than a quarter, but slightly bigger than the last ones I made bloom. And there were a lot more of these too. They continued to appear around where I sat as I watched.
