Fated to the Enemy

Fated to the Enemy

Walking through the hall, my wedding dress on when I heard them, my own mate with another. He was to mark me on our wedding night but instead I kicked the door open, my wolf pressing to the surface as she growled out in anger as he pushed the Omega to floor of the room. "I reject you Beta! I, Dahlia Selene Knight, reject you Beta Christopher Lee Parker because you are an absolute piece of shit!" I felt the tether snap, he went to reach for me but I swung my dress around, turning and running down the hall then out the doors and into the woods. Tears streaming down my face as I ran when I run smack into a wall. Wait, he isn't a wall. Before I fall back onto the ground strong hands wrap around my waist, stopping me instantly, looking up to see the most beautiful honey colored eyes I'd ever seen before. Alpha Damien Allister Diaz, the Alpha to our rival pack, known to be the most ruthless of Alphas, he lost his mate 5 years ago when she was delivering their baby. They both passed and he became a monster to all the bedtime stories told to young wolves. "What have we here? And all dressed up to get married I see. You wouldn't be Beta Parkers betrothed now would you?"

Red Sage
This story is refreshingly captivating and all it's own, in the sense it has a fresh take on many aspects in regards to family, wolf dynamics and genuine love. The author does a very good job of portraying an actual genuine loving relationship and finding strength in that love. kudos to the author

MATED TO THE ENEMY

Rosalind Rivers has only ever wanted one thing — revenge. The Lycan Prince, Aklan Draven, murdered her brother in cold blood. Or so she’s believed her whole life. Now, forced to serve under him at the Lycan Academy, she has no choice but to obey the man she swore to hate. But hating him becomes harder with every clash, every stolen glance, every heartbeat that refuses to stay loyal to her rage. Because fate has a cruel sense of humor. He’s her fated mate. Aklan doesn’t understand why this stubborn, sharp-tongued wolf gets under his skin or why her scent feels like home. He only knows she’s trouble. The kind that tests his control, drags buried memories to the surface, and makes him question everything he thought he knew about loyalty and guilt. But when a hidden truth comes to light — that Rosalind’s brother didn’t die by Aklan’s hand but by choice, their world begins to unravel. Old wounds reopen. Ancient forces stir. And Rosalind learns she is no ordinary wolf, but something far rarer, something worth killing for. Between vengeance and love, duty and destiny, one wrong move could ignite a war between realms. Wedded To My Enemy

Wedded To My Enemy

His lips brushed my palm and every time his hot breath hit my skin, it set my nerves on fire. “What the—” I whispered, breathless. And then, with deliberate slowness, Sevastian slipped my ring finger into his mouth. My eyes widened in disbelief, my heart hammering against my chest. His teeth scraped my skin before sinking into the flesh, just enough to make me twitch from the sharp pain. I gasped, both from the sting and the bite I got from him. My entire body tensed as he bit down harder, marking me not with ink or metal, but with flesh and teeth. When he finally released my hand, my skin throbbed, the faint mark of his bite was visible against my finger. I cradled my hand, staring in disbelief at the mark he left behind. “This,” Sevastian murmured, his voice low and sharp. “Is my mark and ring.” His tone carried an edge, dangerous yet confident, as if the words were meant to bind me. “The symbol that you are no longer Celestina Valeztina-Savelli.” His lips ghosted over my skin, and my chest tightened as he whispered the next words. “...but Celestina Valeztina-Ortega.” His next words were a soft snarl, dripping with ruthless certainty. “My property, my wife.” He added, while locking his gaze on me. There was no hesitation in his eyes, no flicker of remorse, only that same ruthless determination that chilled me to my core. I tried to pull my hand back, but he didn’t let go. "You’re insane," I whispered, my voice barely audible, trembling despite my best efforts not to show it. “Yes, I’m insane,” he replied with a hint of mischief in his voice, “And I can drive you crazy…” He paused, letting the tension hang in the air.
