and with that Lore pushed faster, the trees around us passing in a blur. Arriving at the Lotus pack, it was faster than I had imagined I could already see houses burning from miles away. Arnold’s warriors lay dead on the ground all around. I raced into the pack fighting off the rogues that came at me. Getting closer to Arnold’s pack house I saw Aztec’s wolf, Dain, fighting off a group of rogues that had surrounded him. I quickly rushed to his side. Lore bit down hard on the sides of a rogue that had its claw deep in Dain’s thigh. The rogue whimpered and a crack was heard from its side. Lore broke its rib. Arnold was soon beside me, holding a long sword.

I was intrigued when reading the first chapter. The pace of the plot and the characters had me hungry for more. I didn’t want to stop reading. I definitely want to add this book to my library and continue to read until I know what happens.

This was a good story. Nice character growth. I was glad that the miscommunication didn't last for half of it. Actual communication with the MCs!! I would say it just needs a little bit of editing. I enjoyed this story and can't wait to see what happens to ------ and her mate. (No spoilers hehe)

Legendary Quest of the System Warrior

Legendary Quest of the System Warrior

The voice explained the path to growth. "To advance through the ranks, you must acquire experience points and meet certain requirements," the voice narrated. "Each rank unlocks new skills, granting you greater power and influence." The map of the city and the wider world unfolded before Keagan's eyes, highlighting key locations, hidden enclaves, and territories held by various factions. It was a tapestry of secrets and challenges. "Your daily tasks await, Spectral Guardian," the voice informed him. "By completing these tasks, you will gain experience, acquire resources, and contribute to the balance within the system."

Florian replied, "Sir, we're stationed in Willowford East. Supplies will not burden the base. "And we've confirmed that Cyrus is a spatial-type Awakened. He must be the one who looted the Volmart warehouse, likely taking goods worth hundreds of billions. If we capture him, the base can operate for at least 5 years." Magnus leaned back in his chair, fingers tapping the desk in a slow rhythm. After a long pause, he spoke. "And what happens after 5 years?" Florian faltered. Five years? In the Frostfall, most people thought only about surviving the next day.

He checked the amount and value of the recent harvest from the wasteland that was stated in the ledger. The yearly cross-house tournament was coming, and house Valentino had to offer their share of resources that would be used as part of the reward to give to the Victors. Rufus Valentino rubbed his forehead as he laid his back on the chair made from agar wood . Vampires don't really get tired, but they sure as hell aren't immune to frustration. "I should have a damn secretary for these stuffs" count Rufus muttered with exasperation in his tone.

Sunfall

Just Ray stops laughing, wipes the red honey off his lips with his shirt, and moves around the metallic cave, trying to find something. “I’m not taking you—” “Why not!?” “I am not getting killed,” Just Ray shouted. “Just Ray, do not fret. No one will kill you,” I promised. “We will keep you alive forever, your honey is wonderful!” He eyed me suspiciously and moved piles of his treasures to the side, useless things until he found a life-saver. It’s black with various patches sewn in to keep it together, the metal rusting, the handle made of wood, and he rubs a strange substance on it to get it to open up.

Rejected for Her Curves, Claimed by the Blood Alpha

Rejected for Her Curves, Claimed by the Blood Alpha

Thousands of tiny, starlight-seeds began to fall through the Loom, landing on the pillars and the thrones. "What is she doing?" Jackson’s father asked, his lead-colored eyes widening in terror. "She’s giving you a Choice," Leo said, his runes turning a steady, tactical purple. "The Fourteenth Cycle wants to delete the 'Glitch.' But Hope is turning the glitch into the Foundation". The black-light pillars began to crack. From the fissures, the same "Dry Fire" I had used in the Blood-Fortress began to leak out, withering the mechanical perfection of the thrones.

SEVER ZERO

SEVER ZERO

Ren read the lore text aloud. "Grand Treasurer Midas, a corrupted machine spirit, has hoarded the realm's wealth within his impenetrable vault. While the villagers of the Lowlands starve, Midas sits upon a mountain of stolen gold. Break his defenses, slay the tyrant, and redistribute the wealth." It was perfect game logic. Kill the greedy monster, save the villagers, get rich. Simple. Heroic. Ren pushed aside the nagging thought—who is Midas in the real world?—and focused on the fun. The lore made it okay. They were the good guys. Robin Hood with high-caliber rifles.
