I look at every row of the books. I picked up a few books, ready to take them home with me. My brows shoot up at the sight of the sign ‘New Arrived’. I walked to it with curiosity and randomly picked one. I opened a random page and was shocked to see the same family from the museum. I knit my brows together in confusion. ‘Was this family famous back then?’ My thoughts wander every time I flip the pages and close it, bringing it with me. In the end, I borrowed five books and bought one. I walked back home despite the distance. When I got home Mom was already preparing the table for dinner and scolding me for taking too long. Her nags stopped when we all sat down, food filling our mouths.

I offered him a warm, encouraging smile. "Would you like to tell me more about the books?" I asked, my tone inviting and gentle, trying to coax more information out of him. "Yes," he grinned, his eyes sparkling even in the dim glow of the nightstand lamp. "It's children's books, and they say family consists of father, mother, and children. Not father and father."
