DARKNESS

DARKNESS

He sees me smiles and responds mischievously. "No, I'm fine at the moment," I nod and leave even more nervous than when I entered. I walk into the kitchen and into the office, where Pit has another order list in hand. “What's up Nisha?” he asks when he sees my face. “Who is Dark?” I ask, what happens next alarms me. The list falls from her hands and the color in her face vanishes completely, she opens her eyes wide and says in barely a whisper. “Where have you heard that name?” I hesitate for a moment.

The Troll Queen's Bride

The Troll Queen's Bride

Death is not mighty, Death is a humble widower who sits weeping by a lighthouse window, polishing brass for the seagulls, ash more bread than fireplace, eating the leftover cheese that has hardened and become dogfood. Death is not loud, Death speaks only the tongue of toads. He is a toad, he crouches in the small places, soaking up rain. Rough skin poison, brown and dun and wood, wet and wanting. Give him some weeds, he is happy, give him a kingdom, he cries. Death my comfort, Death my confidant, Death my escort. We ramble over the mountains, making strange bedfellows at inn beyond the wood beyond the worlds, in Siduri's bar

The Dark Truth

The Dark Truth

I'm Seo-yeon Lee, an extraordinary twenty-two years old university student. Now, how do I begin? The dark truth about me. I was just at the tender age of sixteen years old when I hurt my friend or in other words, killed my friend. It was night, a dark night, a never ending night. I was afraid of myself. I couldn't believe in myself. I debated with myself for quite a very long time that whether all of these was true. Even if it was, I desperately wanted it to be a nightmare that could never be the truth.

Zesa: Love on papers

Zesa: Love on papers

A server walked up to me to guide me to a table. “Once upon a midnight lonely,” I said, suddenly feeling as though I was a man from the nineteenth century. Why Enzo always insisted on a poem I never knew. “She inspires me to write, invading my mind day and through the night as my heart and soul face darkness. I realize our souls together were just a fever dream, but for always in an instant, I swore it was forever.”

It's a nice story But to be honest I don't like the way how pathetic Zesa's charector is i mean he cheated on her and even have a child with his mistress even though he knew that his mistress is such greedy person but still he did that but Zesa is so desperate that she just forgive him so easily....

TEMPTING THE DARK MAN

TEMPTING THE DARK MAN

*Hazel* I do not know what the Dark Silver Pack has in store for me, but I will not cower. Whatever awaits me, I will survive. Night had already fallen, and the journey dragged on endlessly. Every mile felt longer than the last, each shadow seeming to stretch toward me like fingers trying to pull me back. How much easier this would have been if I could shift — to run in my wolf form, to cover ground quickly and silently. But I could not, and so I trudged on, exhausted, yet determined.

CEO's Only Wife

CEO's Only Wife

A familiar, hoarse voice came from the microphone. He paused in the darkness and watched Carina ascend to the small platform. She joked a bit with the crowd, thanked them for coming, and introduced her new poem. "Dark Corner," she said. ("A Small Dark Place") Eric braced himself for a suspenseful series, and was ready to form some praise in his mind. After all, it wasn't her fault that he didn't like poetry. He had decided not to laugh at something so important to her, and would even give her some words of encouragement.

The Alpha's Slave

he begged for a solution in despair, imploring it, begging for hope in these dark times. I approached a great chest standing in the corner and opened it with a heavy key; the metallic echo within the room seemed an auspicious beginning. Inside were thin vials of dark glittering substance; it seemed to pulse with alien life. That was the infamous Double Shadow's Poison- a rare and deadly venom extracted from the very fangs of the mythical Shadow Serpents. A mix of awe and fear of the power enclosed in those frail receptacles of glass sent shivers down my spine.

The Golden Dragon's Princess

I prompted. “I am reading the epic poems by the Fae Sage Yric of Cynraed, most particularly the Paragon of Theodghar and the Deceit of Elovyn.” “Poetry,” I sat back on my heels and regarded him in bemusement. The beautiful golden-haired man was absorbed in reading poetry, or all the unusual things for him to possibly be reading in a dragon’s cave, poetry had not even entered my speculative list. “I did not imagine you would read poetry.”

Leave it to Everleigh to make a person long for their own broody, sexy dragon. Seriously though, I couldn't put this book down. The world this author has created is so vibrant and fun it makes you want to dive in to the pages.

DARK MYSTERIES

DARK MYSTERIES

Annabelle read it out: “ Luke, the most powerful vampire to exist. He is known by many names. The lord of darkness. The symbol of abomination. The epitome of destruction. But one thing is very clear, he was never born as a vampire. Rather, he was born human. A servant to be precise. The story goes back when he served at a plantation alongside his friend. The two young men did not like their status and the burden of servitude. As much as they hated their lives, they each had different views towards their master. While his friend wanted to be among the elites and high class, Luke wanted to rule them. And so when rumors of a warlock spread in the town and came to pass, Luke and his

I break myself, With words, thoughts, From my own mind. Everything I ran away from, I became. Everything I tried not to be, Everything I walked away from, I see them now. Taunting me, laughing at me, For my darkness was my fault, No other's. So, when I love, it's living death. I walk alone in this path, I made darkness my creed, Formed depression, With hands of flawless poetry. I created my demons, Now I'm haunted by them. Everything I am,
