The Crimson Curse

The Crimson Curse

Once I sat engaged and waiting I heard a martyred, extrajudicial sentencing Death - tormentor of my dreams Deep into that darkness sanctioning 'Death!' said I, 'thing of demise.' I awoke and flung the grief My passion is the parched necrosis 'Death!' chuckled I, 'Yes Death!' ~~Theodora Twitty <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Scarlett

Accepting the darkness

Accepting the darkness

When he got to the center of the book, the characters became clearer so that he could read a long forgotten story. "... and God's power became weaker. People gave themselves to their despair. Their hearts were filled with dark thoughts. What once shone in the light was bathed in darkness. Innocence threatened to succumb to sin. Heaven succumbed to it Hell. The figures of the night broke in on the innocent and stole their light. Above all ~ he ~. The darkness itself. ~ "Lucifer." ~

The alpha king's slave mate

The alpha king's slave mate

My own body felt like it was tearing itself apart from the inside. I tried to crawl, but my arms buckled. My fingernails scraped the floor, leaving bloody marks where they broke. Draken’s voice floated above me, patient but merciless. “The darkness doesn’t fight fair. It finds your weakness and amplifies it. Your fear of death, your guilt, your doubt. The poison will wear your body down until your mind gives in. Endure it, Kael. Or it will consume you.” The shadows whispered louder now, their voices twining with the poison.

The Seduction Of The Damned.

The Seduction Of The Damned.

Yet, amid those dire moments, Nine's face often appeared, like the moon illuminating a clear, starless sky. But unlike the moon, which brings a measure of brightness to the darkness, Nine's presence only seemed to deepen the shadows. It's often said that darkness and light cannot coexist; however, darkness and darkness can entwine like old friends. The world is a cruel joke, and humanity is its most profound flaw. *****

Rejected Luna: He wants me back

Rejected Luna: He wants me back

I sit there, a prisoner in my own mind, trapped in this dark, desolate realm. The world around me is shrouded in perpetual darkness, punctuated only by the occasional flicker of an unseen flame. Black smoke curls and writhes around me, a fucking sinister, malevolent presence. I feel empty, hollow, like a shell without a soul. There is no light here, no hope, no escape.

Also, I love the characters in this book! I’m sad that story the main characters is finished but then we get to revisit them in the sequel. It made me laugh and cry but luckily laughed a lot! Even the FL’s wolf is great! I love it when the wolves also communicate to them and have quite the character

I love this book. The author did an amazing job with the MLs redemption arc. I've read waaaaay too many books where the ML was horrendous and only wanted th FL back because of whatever improvements to her life/appearance made her "worthy." This lead is different. He actually improves himself.

The Darkness Within

The Darkness Within

“It's not like that. It's not something you can get rid of. It's part of me; it's my other half. It's who and what I am. Don’t you see, I am the darkness! To get rid of it would be to get rid of me. I'm no good for you. I will only cause you pain and suffering. I am the darkness! I'm the monster everyone's afraid of. I'm the beast in the dark that children have nightmares of. I am the evil from the depths of hell and will only snuff out your light, little angel. You and I can never be together!” He said with a deep and rough voice. Smoke seeped from his body again, and a dark aura rose from his body like a shadow looming over her.

This book is another one of the author's that can't be put down. Each chapter draws you in and each character evokes emotion from the reader. I can't recommend it enough. If you love supernatural fantasy with love, passion, romance, mystery, suspense and adventure then you will love it as I do.

Thank you for continuing to work on this book. I was wondering how it turned out for Ivy and Vivian when they turned 18, were they mates or not. As always you are an incredible writer ......️.........

Dark of Night

Dark of Night

Tom questions, brows pinching together. “Yeah, the demons that walk the earth in corporeal form are lower-level demons.” “There are higher-level ones?” I let out a breath. “Tons. Let’s hope one of those doesn’t—” Lucas speeds in front of me and stands in front of Ricky. “We don’t have time for this,” he says and looks into Ricky’s eyes. “You are terrified of the dark. Just looking out the window and seeing the night sky makes you scream uncontrollably.”

Blood Moon Pack Series

Blood Moon Pack Series

The cover is worn and the leather is pealing off. I open it. Each page is all crinkled as if it's been used a lot. I look through the book. Poems? Each poem is so meaningful. Did she write this? INNER DEMONS: It's like a shadow in an eternal night It does not let you free it does not let you live in the light It takes you deeper into an endless tunnel It ensnares you with chains It pumps it's venom into your vains The darkness does not let it's prey go easily

A Second Chance: My Twin Mates

A Second Chance: My Twin Mates

My body is a hollow ache. And for the first time… I wonder if this will be my end. I cling to one thought, fragile and fading: Brynn… Frynn… But the darkness swallows even their names. And I am gone to the world.
