The faint clash of metal echoed in my ears as a sharp beam of light pierced through my eyes, forcing them to spring open. I found myself lying on the street, my body half-stained with my own blood and injuries. Another clash of metal caught my attention as my eyes focused on the coins tossed at a rubber container near me by each person passing by. It was the morning hour.
