This peaks Faith's interest as she frowns at me. "Is this because of Chadley?" She asks hitting the bullseye I just nervously bite my lip as I break our eye contact. She sighs at this, gaining my attention. "Hanna, just because you were wrong about one persons intentions doesn't mean that everyone's intentions are horrible" she says with a motherly tone of voice "Yeah, well I'll never find out because I'm putting an end to whatever her and I have" I say with a newfound determination "Hanna, you and I both know that that's not what you want" Faith says with disappointment

After making sure everyone was safe and out of the building we put the fire out, loaded the truck, and went to put more fuel in the tank before coming back here to the station where things took a turn. By the time we got back here, Dawson and Pearson were already here but somehow Dawson was already back in my mind way before I even saw her, it seemed as if the moment we turned down the block, the moment we drove into the apparatus bay everything that had just happened, everything I had tried my best to distract myself with had just up and vanished into thin air and were replaced with thoughts of HER all over again. I know Chi is just trying to make it better so I finish my last few papers and head downstairs to meet Chiara. We drive around town and buy a couple of things before heading to the square with all the restaurants. On our little walk, I feel Flint stirring. I haven’t felt or heard from him since the day after the fire. As we pass a fancy restaurant, he snaps to attention. ‘She’s here!’ I howls. ‘She’s not. She died. I’m sorry buddy. It’s time to let her go.’ I say softly. But as we turn the corner my heart stops.

For seven years, the fire had lived inside her like a scar that refused to heal. For seven years, she had replayed that night in fragments; heat, smoke, pain, and betrayal she could feel but not prove.

Then I watched the gym above burn as I leaned against the DJ booth and watched the flames rise through the windows. Afterward I strolled out to the balcony on the second floor that would soon collapsed and I had a view of the city. I could hear the distant.Faulty wiring would be held responsible for the fire. Perhaps even written off as an accident. However the appropriate people would be aware of what had happened. I lit up a cigarette. Matteo joined me after few minutes “He'll strike back.” “That's his cup of coffee and not mine. I dragged on the cigarette again and smiled.

ADRIAN TWO YEARS LATER It's been two years since that night, and after the fire incident that splashed across the news the next day. A warehouse had been burned down during a raid, resulting from an FBI operation targeting one of the most dangerous gangs in New York City. The raid had killed most of the FBI agents and gang members. I still couldn't believe it was the same warehouse we had all been to that night. Would I have died if Kisra hadn't rescued us? Would Giovanni...? No, I didn't want to think about that possibility.
