We had all read about the Demonic Wolf and knew how terrifying it was! The Demonic Wolf was among the most powerful creatures in this realm and had terrifying abilities. It was said that it could summon undead souls, change its shape and size, manipulate demonic fire and move at supernatural speeds! There was no way we would be able to fight such a powerful creature! "Now prepare to die!" the Demonic Wolf roared, causing the entire forest to tremble again. Cracks appeared on the ground as pale hands reached out through the cracks. "On me!" Lisa immediately shouted as she kicked off the ground. I could only see the back of her head but I could imagine her expression right now.

"You really have no idea who Damon is, do you?" "I don’t care who he is," I snapped, my voice rising. "The police can deal with him." Her smile faded as she shook her head. "The police are afraid of him. Damon isn’t just powerful—he’s untouchable. Some even say he’s a Demon Wolf." My eyes widened, the term unfamiliar yet chilling. "A Demon Wolf? Like… an actual monster?" "Rumors," she said quickly, though there was a flicker of unease in her eyes. "But that’s not the point. The point is, Damon is dangerous, and there are other ways to win a battle without fighting head-on."

Ghost was gone in the blink of an eye, and a beautiful giant black wolf appeared. “Hey, handsome.” Ghost was a majestic wolf. “Does your wolf want to play with her mate?” Dad asked. Ghost cantered away, teasing me. My wolf peered through my eyes to check Ghost’s wolf out. “Your eyes are glowing. Call her forward.” Ghost zipped by us trying to lure her out. “She’s not ready,” I whined. “Esmerelda, you’re making this more complicated than it is.” “Daddy, I feel her. That is enough for right now.” He let out a slow breath, clearly disappointed.

His squarish face was angular, and his eyes were as keen as lightning. There were more than a dozen bodies lying in front of him, all dead Demon Clan experts. Not far from him stood a Demon Clan expert with a wolf head and a human body. The hair on the Wolf Demon's head stood on end like steel needles, glittering darkly. His lupine eyes were as red as two pools of blood, with bloodily ripped flesh and bleached bones still dangling around the twirling cold aura, gleaming sharply. His wolfish claws were clutching the torn arm of a Human Clan expert, as blood dripped to the ground.

He was the first of the vampires to leave for the day. Thankfully today I didn't have much planned. Beth and I spent some time in the library to do more research but still pulled nothing but dead ends. I held Demeter for her to try letting her catch up on some sleep. Emerging from the shadows was a creature, unlike anything they had ever encountered. Its form was a twisted amalgamation of wolf and demon, its eyes glowing with a malevolent light. It stood tall, exuding power that surpassed anything they had witnessed before. "What… what is that?" Zara stammered, her voice barely a whisper. Alpha Marcus, his breathing heavy, cast a glance at the menacing entity. "A demon wolf," he gasped, his voice filled with urgency. "We're outmatched. We must retreat!"
