When I saw Thomas pull around his beefed out Ford truck, my jaw dropped. The thing was frigging huge with gigantic tires. And when I say gigantic, I mean it. A three foot lift is ridiculous when you're trying to get into any vehicle, and I'm a basketball player who has to make jump shots. Well, I'm only five foot six, but still. Beatrice and Maud were staring at him with an intensity that made him squirm in his chair. He tipped the carton, refilling his bowl. Maud gave him a grin. “Seems ye have hollow legs.” Thomas added more milk. “Got to make sure I’ve got enough carbs on board. Fatigue is the silent killer.” Beatrice walked up to the counter and placed her hands on the grey surface, she looked down at Thomas, and her face was blotched with simmering rage. “Some things are far more dangerous.” A puzzled frown appeared on Thomas’ face. “What can be more dangerous than death?”

The rest of the class progressed well, with Anderson, Harrison and Thomas as limelights; answering all the difficult questions.
