He laughed weakly, pain and fear twisting his face. “You already made a mistake coming here, John.”
I leaned closer. “Talk.”
His eyes flicked to Michelle, then to her mother, bound and crying. Something broke in him.
“Fine,” he spat. “I’ll talk. I’ll tell you everything, you sick bastard.”
