Night Wolves

Night Wolves

But his Charger was his baby, just like my Harley was mine. I took the lead and River rode beside me, while Cruz followed us. So far, I didn't see any members of Nightshade or anything suspicious, but that wasn't to say that the threat wasn't there. But it was late, and Nightshade had probably finished patrolling for the night. One could only hope. But I refused to live my life in fear. We made a left turn, and the night was gorgeous. Hot already, even though it was nice. But wolf-shifters didn't feel the heat or the cold like humans. The stars were out, but the moon wouldn't be out again until the Summer Solstice in June.

Vamp Invasion

Vamp Invasion

I guess she's still our friend after all. "I have something to tell you." I'm shocked. Rhea said more than three words to me. I'm getting kinda scared, is this about Sarah? "Sure, come in and have a seat." She closed the door behind her and came in. I put down the books in my hand and sat in front of her. I stared at her as if trying to collect information from a book, I was trying to guess what she wanted to say. She rubbed her palms together and looked me straight in the eye. Her seriousness is scaring the shit out of me but I'm trying to keep my cool, the future king of a vampire kingdom can not afford to be scared of a serious conversation.

Alpha Kael And The Crimson Bloodline

Alpha Kael And The Crimson Bloodline

Through winding paths and across the marsh flats they trailed them, until the dark shapes of tents and timber walls emerged from the night—the Dreadmaw camp. The stench hit first. Smoke, blood, and rot woven together, undercut by the musk of too many wolves crowded in one place. Inside the camp, firepits glowed, throwing red light on crude wooden palisades. Some of the Dreadmaws were sprawled in drunken feasts, tearing flesh from a deer’s carcass with bare hands. Others sparred with steel and claw, their snarls echoing into the trees. From their perch atop the wall’s edge, Kael and Fenrak crouched low, unseen.

Origins: The Luna City Trilogy

Origins: The Luna City Trilogy

I watch as she sits down and grabs the checked-out book she had chosen for the weekend, already enthralled in the first few chapters when the first of the few beasts began to lurk just outside in the shadows of the street. The bright and hopeful dream quickly turns dark, almost as if a tinted film had drifted before me and covered the unfolding scene—making me grow uneasy as I swiftly sense the atmosphere contort sinisterly, readying me to relive what it is that happened next. Sounding just as harrowing as it did the first time, the shattering sound of blood-curdling screams begin to erupt from outside the walls of the old flat—sending the usually quiet residential street into a blind panic.

How often is the update on this book? It says on the title “Trilogy”, are there 3 separate books or 3-in-1? Coz some authors include Books 1&2 on 1 book altogether before declaring it as Completed. I just want to know if this 93 chapters now is still far from being Completed and I have to wait long

Lurking in the Dark - Book 2

Lurking in the Dark - Book 2

They were monsters, created to plant nightmares in people's heads and this sight would cause Maddox again one or two sleepless nights, because before someone had put a bullet in this Iuba, he had ripped the blond woman's throat out . Maddox gritted his teeth and jumped over them outside into the garden and into a bloody hell. There were screams, wails, and sounds of pain. The Iubas growl and bite filled the air. There were so many that at first glance he couldn't see them all, but what he saw were the two little, red-haired girls on the hedge in front of the fence. And also the big Iuba, who jumped straight at her.

We’ve all got the power in our hands to kill, but most people are afraid to use it. The ones who aren’t afraid, control life itself -The Night Stalker. __________ A soft rumble of thunder rolled through the night sky, followed by a humid, chilly gust of wind. Hopefully, I’d finish my business before the rain started. While werewolves didn’t get sick easily, I didn’t want to push my luck. Another breeze sent chills down my spine.

Such a good story! The story flows well. Doesn’t go on too long describing a vibe or paragraphs of how one foliage growing on a home looks like (looking at you, Anne Rice). Seriously, though, “Jilguera” is a wonderful storyteller. Read this story. It’s so good.

Creative show not tell like of story. Unique and dosent have “breaks” or emotional slow parts. Love the diversity and embracing unconventional circumstances. Also it’s not to long or drawn out, it’s just the right length. A delightful afternoon read 10/10 thank you!

Lunar Lake

Lunar Lake

“Once. And for all.” (Witch’s POV – Lena) The camp had gone quiet. Only the distant crunch of patrol boots over gravel broke the stillness. In my tent, the air was thick with sage smoke, curling in silver threads toward the low lantern glow. My sisters sat across from me, their faces pale in the flickering light. Nora spread a worn leather-bound book on the table between us, its spine cracked, pages edged with soot from gods-knew-how-many other battles. “This thing isn’t just feeding,” she whispered. “It’s tethered. Something or someone is anchoring it here.”

A Vampire's Mark

A Vampire's Mark

Instead I was dragged back to my dorm room. I sat on the edge of my bed, my hands trembling. Fear builded in my chest, anger simmering beneath it. “Who were these people?” My thoughts spun in circles, every shadow in the room stretching into a threat I couldn’t name. I looked outside the window, admiring how beautiful the stars and moon were. Wishing I could go back in time to reject Jenna’s dare. I brought up my pillow, pulling out the book. I felt a presence, heavy, chilling, lingered just behind me. When I spun around I saw him, my heart lurched into my throat. I stumbled back, a sharp gasp tearing out of me as fear shot through my veins.

HIS REGRET (Ex-Husband wants Me Back)

HIS REGRET (Ex-Husband wants Me Back)

They all knew Chris was looking for trouble. “I’m not scared,” Naomi replied confidently. “What exactly am I supposed to be afraid of on a camping trip?” “Really?” Chris squinted at her skeptically. “Of course.” “Hm.” Chris did not look convinced. “The campsite just happens to be fairly close to the forest.” “So?” “It gets dark at night.” Naomi snorted. “I know the definition of night.” “And sometimes there are strange sounds. Not to mention all the insects you hear after dark.” Chris put on a creepy expression. “And then there are the stories the locals talk about the edge of the forest where we’ll be camp—”

Hey author you should release the next chapters for tomorrow since it’s a holiday. Also what would be a cool twist is if Lydia found out earlier that day she was pregnant before getting kidnapped and she never got a chance to tell Cale

THE ALPHA'S LOST HEIR

THE ALPHA'S LOST HEIR

A pack of wolves, sleek and silver-furred, moved through the shadows, their eyes gleaming like moonlight. There was a sense of profound belonging, a deep peace I’d never known. Then, the green turned to red. Fire. Screams. And the overwhelming scent of blood and terror. I saw faces, terrified and distorted, and a flash of a symbol carved into a tree, a silver moon above a twisting, ancient root. I awoke with a gasp, my body drenched in sweat, my heart hammering against my ribs.
