Having faced Trolls and Goblins before, the Fairies and Elves knew how to defeat them. While the trolls were 10 feet tall, they were not very intelligent. Small and tricky, goblins posed a greater threat than trolls because they were unstable and chaotic. Using magical means, the Elves make the Goblins explode, leaving behind a yellow slimy goo residue. Moka explained in her nasal voice. That was another thing Germaine noticed. Where Zar's voice was smooth and normal, the other goblins had nasal voices, as if they had something stuck inside their nostrils. The male goblin was hairy with overgrown beards decorated with beads, bones, and teeth. Both male and female were short, with bodies that rose not taller than her waist and wrinkled skin like it wanted to belong on a taller person but had to make do. Yet, what they lacked in height, they made up for in strength.

The people inside the carriage, along with the coachmen, shared a look with each other. “Young miss, did you not see that horned goblin?” The coachmen replied, also with a question. I glanced back at the goblin group. Now that I see it, I saw one of the goblins being bigger than the rest. Its colour is the same as the other goblins, but it has a pair of horns on its forehead. “That goblin is the goblin general, namely smarter than a normal goblin. Although we have some adventurers here, but we can’t win against that one.” The coachman added.

Cent’s wary reaction earned her a pat on the head from Steffan. “Silly girl. This is absolute talent, I tell you. By the way, what are these? I get that these horned ones are demons, but what are these small creatures?” Cent was about to answer him that she did not know and she only saw these creatures in her dreams, but she was stopped midway when the shadows hissed the name of the creatures. “Goblins,” said Cent. Steffan whistled from her reply. “You got some awesome imagination, Maleficent. You keep on surprising me.”

“Sera, look at this.” “This is bad. We should contact the commander.” She noticed that one of the goblins had a slightly bluish skin and a small horn on their head. It was a stronger species, an evolved goblin called a hobgoblin. Newbies can handle a single hoblin but a horde would be fatal. Team Alpha recovered enough to move. Sera and Sven were about to inform them to retreat when the earth rumbled violently.
