Marcus looks at me in shock. I’m confused at his reaction but have no time to ask. We have to catch them, and fast. Over 600 of us shift and we charge forward, running after the rogues. “Titus you, you look bigger. How?” Marcus links me, and I don’t know what to say to that. “I don’t know Marcus. If I didn’t know who it was in there, I would be wetting myself with fear.

Silver-gray patches spread across my flanks, each one sending fresh waves of agony through every nerve. But I don’t stop. Sienna. Her fear and fury hit through our bond. I can feel her watching—Elias is making her see this.

I cried even more at the sight. He used his paw to push my head back toward the rest of my body, and I screamed silently in agony at the movement. What was Alex doing? Was he trying to hurt me more?

The witches released their touch on Barbara's body. Adinata saw that the wolvire girl's eyes were no longer gray, but completely white, without the slightest black dot. Her skin was so pale and fair at the same time like someone who had drained of blood. The five-hour journey using the Body Transfer had made quite a difference to the girl.
