He hummed close to her ear as the car moved away and made space for the next car to pull up. She shivered at his breath on her ear, just as the driver opened the door for the next council member. “Ambrosia! You look stunning as always…” Tamara greeted with a mischievous grin. “Don’t be a kiss-ass Tamara.” The gentle voice giggled as a gorgeous fae stepped out of the car. It was as if the surrounding woods perked up to shine for her. Then her eyes traveled over their group and settled on Gemma. “Ah, so you’ve been turned against your will.” She pouted sadly. “And mated to a wolf, I had such high hopes to have such a kind heart be mated to one of my fae…”

Before I could panic, my eyes met Dymon’s, and the sheer reminder of his presence, the calm, unwavering look in them made me feel a bit more grounded. “Direwolves of the Syllian Isle, I have invited you all the day to celebrate the return, of my long lost, and yet most certainly beloved granddaughter Feyre. Without saying a word, the beast sink back into the bowl to do as it's mistress has commanded. Tamara smiled wickedly. Now she has to visit the palace and report Rae to the king just in case her beast fail. She has this sudden doubting feelings that it will fail.

Liam spat fast, at the royal who quickly nodded to everything he said. Without wasting time, the royal guard took Melpmene and rushed with her in a direction. Liam stayed behind, helping Amethyst get up on her feet but it was hard as she cried with pain. For the first time, the Dark Fey was scared, she no longer could hide her tears.
