A deal with the Billionaire

A deal with the Billionaire

She persuaded. I rolled my eyes, mom is definitely by love. I hate men. " Bye, mom." Without reticence, I hung up the call. I looked up to see Michelle staring down at my iPad with her eyes wide open. I moved to her side of the bed, to take a peek at what she was gazing at. It was the stupid news again, but this time it wasn't about my wedding disaster. It was about the famous Cole Manchester. Since I was a teenager to date, I've been obsessed with him, he was a football player, and he played for the NFL. He owned one of the biggest football clubs in the world. He is a star and every girl's dream. He could take your breath away by a mere glance.

Within My Grasp

Within My Grasp

I said in a low murmur. Noah nodded and leaned back in his seat. His expression dimmed and I felt bad for saying no. It's true that I am not a sports person. I knew nothing about the games. It's not like I didn't try, I did try to understand the rules, but it was all too complicated and I gave up trying to understand it. Football is a game where two teams chased a ball. I understood the concept of scoring a goal–the other terms are still a mystery.

Private Lessons With The Bad Boy Bully

Private Lessons With The Bad Boy Bully

"Seriously, Lena. Put those books down and come to bed with me." Heat flooded my face and I shrank back away from him. "No. There's no way we're doing that again, and I've told you, so stop asking." He grabbed a football from beside his bed and started spinning it on his index finger around and around in a perfectly balanced circle. I blinked. There used to be a time when I understood basically nothing about football, but even then I still had to admit there was something strangely attractive about him being so... Athletic. I mean, it was either that or I was losing my mind.

Keeping Score

Keeping Score

Football was an important part of the man I loved, and I would have no sooner taken it from him than I would've cut off his arm. Of course, I was now a part of the sports press. My job with Marla Smith's organization was challenging and exciting, and it gave me insight into Leo's career and into the game of football. I'd done several stories that had made it to the website, although Marla was very selective about what went up. My most popular reports so far had been my profile of Kara Crocker, which we also used to promote the Crockers' book, and a fun story about single football players that showed a different side of the glamorous, playboy lifestyle so many people believed they led.

Unholy Alliance: True love and Sacrifice

Unholy Alliance: True love and Sacrifice

Uzor said “Alright I will help you… What will I do?” Arnold asked “You will predict coming football matches” “You mean that game where 22 people chase and kick a white material?” Yvonne and Rachael laughed loudly “What? It is called football” Uzor said “It is one of the silliest things I have seen men doing…why do men gather to chase and kick a material onto a net? Why is the white stone so important to be kicked? It baffles me to see thousands gather to watch those men kick it” Arnold looked serious

CEO Stepbrother's Surprise Baby

CEO Stepbrother's Surprise Baby

"I KNEW you had lost your virginity! I just... Shit, I don't know, but... You've had this glow ever since that game... Wait, is this mysterious guy on the football team?!" My face turns bright red, and Linnea snorts. Her lips are quivering, and her eyes are sparkling. "OH-MY-GOD!" "Shh!" I hush her. "Quiet, or the other two will hear you!" "I'm sorry, I'm just..." Linnea shakes her head. "I can't believe you're sleeping with a football player—those guys are like gods on campus! Girls go to their games like it's their church and the men are part of their religion! Most of the guys are treated like gods!"

MY FOOTBALL BOYFRIEND

MY FOOTBALL BOYFRIEND

"Didn't know the star quarterback was so handy with bandaids." "More than meets the eye with me." He was definitely surprising me at the moment. Most often than not football players were seen as cocky, flirty, playboys, and assholes. Or maybe that was only for those that have read too many teenfic novels. Yet here he was being kind to a complete stranger. I was bracing myself for the flirty comments to start but so far none have come. "Thank you." I whispered. He really didn't have to bring me here and clean me up. He probably had better things to do with his time.

So You Think Your Sister's a Vampire?

So You Think Your Sister's a Vampire?

On our very long trip to Philly, we’d discussed football a lot, and I could tell how much he loved it. “Trying not to think about it,” he admitted. “I wish I could’ve waited until the end of the season at least to do all of this, but it just didn’t work out that way. Guess I’ll live. Hunting Vampires is sort of like football. There’s just as much tackling, although, I’ve never ripped the head off of an opposing player.”

"Why football? Explain it to me." I gather my thoughts as Aiden manipulates my body and rolls me over so he can massage the backs of my thighs and lower back. "I don't remember how old I was. Young, maybe three or four. My dad worked long hoursyard work and things like that around the house. On Sundays during football season he planted himself in front of the TV and took the day to enjoy himself. I would sit for hours watching games with him. As I grew older, I asked endless questions and he patiently answered. I loved seeing the ball glide through the air on a spiral pass. If I hadn't wanted to be a kicker, I would have played quarterback." I turn my head and offer Aiden a small grin. "Foot

Win His Ex-Wife Back!

CYNTHIA’s P O V ‘‘I knew it!’’ I shut my eyes, leaning my back against my seat. When I opened my eyes again, I sighed. ‘‘I know nothing about football…’’ ‘‘You don’t have to…’’ Alex stated. ‘‘We’re going to read the journey, not how to play football…’’ I squinted. ‘‘But that would be boring…’’ ‘‘Of course, for you…’’ he smiled. ‘‘All well then… What about a successful businessman?’’
