The first punch lands before I even see it coming. Pain explodes across my cheek as I stumble backward. Chris grabs my arm. “Dylan, leave it!” But the fight has already started. Bodies crash into tables. Glass shatters somewhere near the bar. I swing back. Someone grabs my shirt. Security eventually storms in, dragging people apart before things get worse. By the time we’re shoved outside into the cold air, my lip is bleeding, and my ribs ache every time I breathe. Chris shakes his head. “You’re an idiot.”

When I finally calmed down and sat in front of the monitor, I caught a scene at just the right moment. Kelly was lying on the floor, completely still. A fruit knife was buried in her chest. Rhett and Nevin were both injured, standing far apart, gasping for breath. Was it a fight over food? Or revenge for Jasmine? I did not know. However, I did know one thing. In that kind of weather, it would not be long before all of them ended up together in hell. Just as I was about to look away, something in the corner caught my eye.

I am certain I have punctured an important artery because blood is splashing out every other second. He goes limp, but I still have him on my tight grasp. Then slowly he goes down. Grog is dying. Just then I am ambushed by two of his fighters, trying to rescue him but when they see the state he is in they run away. To be certain that he's dead I tear away his neck, and I witness as he dies. Further away I can see Dylan struggling with Noah. I limp towards them, to save him from the huge monster but I am too late. Noah tears into Dylan, sending him down just as I arrive.

James´ is cold, impassive. The two are all but evenly matched, but Charlotte breaks into the fight. Snatching up the crowbar, now she swings it, bringing it down on Klempner´s outstretched arms with the crack of breaking bones. Klempner howls and falls, writhing in agony. Now, the surprise gone, the remaining three gang-members are scrabbling for their weapons. A gunshot whistles past my face, smacking into the plaster behind me. Another shatters through the window...

I feel helpless, unable to stop them. Locked inside the car, my hands press against the window, and my gaze is fixed on the spectacle unfolding outside. The two figures clash, fists flying, and words exchanged like arrows. A knot forms in my stomach, and my heart aches as the fear of their physical confrontation gnaws at me. The scene outside is a chaotic dance of anger and frustration, a battle between two men, each driven by their own demons. "Stop, please stop! I yell, but they can’t hear me. I am so terrified that I start sobbing.

The one next to it falls to the ground with a shot to the chest and I turn to see Claus come out and cover my back. “It's all they have sons of bitches,” He yells at them while he attacks two others, who also fall to the ground wounded. My men fire back at us and we quickly cut them off leaving a pile of bodies on the pavement. A few minutes later the chaos that had been unleashed ends and the only thing that can be heard are some moans from some wounded men, some of theirs, others of ours.

The men were locked in a deadly battle, two titans moving as silhouettes with the fire as the backdrop, other men still fighting, smoke everywhere. All I could do was sit there and try not to pass out. I couldn’t even follow what was happening anymore, both men moving with speed and strength that were unparalleled. Something happened, and Theo ended up thrown into the wall. He almost slid to the floor, but he caught himself before he fell. Then I saw the blade sticking out of his shoulder, just inches from his neck. “No…” Bolton reached for the gun on the floor. I felt my heart pounding in my chest as I raced through the dark expanse of the forest. I ran until my legs felt weak and was unable to continue. I didn't know what I was running from but I knew from what my gut was telling me that it was bad. I looked behind me only to see the shadowy figure of death. The shape outlined that of a wolf. Its' features were unknown but I knew that it was here for me. Was I dreaming? I asked myself as I gazed at the figure.I slapped my face, hoping that it would help wake me up but I was wrong.

“I doubt she’ll survive half an hour.” The screen showed their retreating figures. The last thing I saw was Helen, slumped against the cabinets, blood pooling around her as she fought to stay conscious. And then the screen cut to the outside camera. A black van. The doors slamming shut. And then… they were gone. Taking Rhett and Ruby with them. I shoved back, nearly knocking my chair over. No one spoke. Kai was the first to break the silence. “The kids fought back?” His voice was laced with both shock and admiration. “Have they been in training or what?” He turned to me and Roman.

“I will take you there” he shouted with all his strength. Miles lets him go, and he slumped on the ground, gasping for breath.
