Then, reaching over to the nightstand, I picked up one of his favorite bedtime books. It was a colorful children’s storybook with both Filipino and English text, the kind you might find in a fancy bilingual preschool. The illustrations were vibrant and nostalgic—it reminded me of the bedtime stories I used to read back home, the kind with halaman and duwende, and characters who said “po” and “opo” while helping their lola carry vegetables. Who would have thought I would be reading a bedtime story for children? Life is really unpredictable. I hesitated at the English section.

So, the best thing for me to do is to avoid her. People still say stupid things about her. I am already very tired of hearing all the side derogatory comments about her. it is very sickening. People should just learn to stop all this petty bullying. It is not cool at all. I entered the library and I picked a seat at the far end of the library. I picked a literature textbook. Literature has been giving me issues for a while now. I want to really focus on it today. I sat down and started skimming through the textbook. I honestly do not understand what I am reading but I just continued.

I already prepared my things before Teacher Fernando can talk, dahil naniniwala akong he won’t bother to wait for me to settle my stuffs. Know looking at the stuffs on my table, really feels like I went back on the early Victorian Era.
