It is the code her mother drilled into her bones, and she has never once broken it. She has a boyfriend, a faith she stands on, and principles she built her entire identity around. But nobody warned her about Drake. Her brother's best friend. The Alpha. The man whose presence alone makes her question everything she thought she knew about herself. Cannot escape the terrifying realization that this man — this impossible off-limits man — sees something in her that her own boyfriend never has. Drake has spent years building walls of his own. He is the Alpha. Disciplined. Untouchable. And Betsy is his best friend's little sister — a line he has never had reason to cross. Until now. As it turns out, her father holds very strong principles on the mate bond. To him, it's the most precious, sacred bond to a wolf and one must not break it. So, he breaks his longest-time rivalry with Alpha Kaden for sake of his daughter, and arranges an alliance between the packs through marriage. Eloise is relieved of her father's decisions and gives the bond a chance. All seems to be going well, when on one fateful day, she announces her pregnancy to her father first out of excitement. But before she got to tell Kaden, pictures of her naked with another man flooded the news, bringing shame to her family and most of all, breaking her father's trust. The marriage is called off, and he announces her unfit to rule the pack and she never will. What breaks Eloise's heart even more is that her father starts beating her. Love the story, writing was intense and keeps the storyline moving. I just would have like to have seen the family reunion. Overall amazing writing but be ready for some intense scenes that can trigger some of you. Happy reading!

Needs a little editing, but still really interesting. The author has a way of storytelling that helps you fully immerse yourself in the story. The FMC is the typical weak to strong, but the story has tons of potential. I hope the writer doesn't intend to rely on clichés/tropes.

I Didn't Go To The Library To Avoid Getting Set Up

I suffered from a skin condition. I scratched myself in the library, and millions of netizens spammed my private inbox. Only then did I find out that a girl accused me of harassing her. I took out my diagnostic report to defend my innocence, but the girl cried pitifully. “You really know how to make an excuse for yourself! How could someone innocent like me frame you?” Even my elder brother spoke up for her! “Why would she frame you of all people? Can’t you take a look at yourself?” I could not bear the cyberbullying, and I died from a sudden heart attack the day before the court hearing. My grandfather could not accept my death, and he collapsed into a coma. My parents cut off ties with my brother before they committed suicide at home. Meanwhile, the girl did not just successfully make her way into graduate school, but she also dug open my grave and used my ashes to make fireworks. When I opened my eyes again, I was back to the day when she had asked me to reserve a seat in the library.
